Tabarez as a stagiare also drew me crazy. I also have him as that mo/tt domestique. He has his weaknesses that make him not capable for a leader role imo and then the tt adds a nice little component as a domestique in mountain + ttt races.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Unbelievable squad and rider taste for a new team. For a new manager you've taken to this game quite well, rest of us should watch out in... well probably a year or two! Or maybe it's beginner's luck

Having never been part of CT this was something we really looked forward to, and it was a fun experience. We ended up signing our 2 first choises, and we said we would be happy getting just one from our top 6! While some of the riders we really wanted and considered was signed before the draft we are still very happy with our haul!
And with the second pick Peugoet selects...!
Matthew Holmes (32) Free| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | 70 | 72 | 74 | 75 | 61 | 71 | 73 | 69 | 61 | 67 | 71 | 71 | 68 | 62 | 32 |
We like puncheurs, and Holmes is another one, but he is also drafter for his climbing skills. Holmes will work both as a breakaway rider, and as a support rider for our GC leaders and we believe that is good value as the second pick of the draft!
Another prolouge sprinter
Luke Keough (34) Free| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | 70 | 57 | 58 | 59 | 55 | 62 | 68 | 68 | 56 | 76 | 74 | 60 | 72 | 77 | 34 |
At our last draft pick we were lucky to get the rider placed second on our own list. Considering that we already enter most CT races with a prologue we decided getting Luke would be a good bet to get some extra points. Considering his age this is most likely his last hurrah!

Nice to see one of the (imo) best and most creative managers of the game agree with me. I believe Tabarez can be a rider I keep around forever in that domestique role
Very happy myself! And always glad to discuss transfers and other random stuff with you! Once upon a time a trade from me to you made you promote, hopefully this can have the same effect!

With transer season over we are proud to present the first complete roster for Peugeot - Bancolombia Cycling! We are very happy with how the team has turned out, ending up with a total of 19 riders, 4 of those loaned in.
Some stats for the team (loanies excluded, drafties excluded from wage)
| Avg. Age | Avg. Overall | Avg.wage | | 29,6 | 72,86 | 78 308 |
We will have 16 nationalities in the squad this season, more than we wanted and planned, only 3 French riders. We wanted more but that is how we ended up.
| Nat. | Name | FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | Fredrik Strand Galta | 68 | 80 | 76 | 72 | 72 | 77 | 78 | 75 | 51 | 62 | 65 | 65 | 69 | 70 | 33 | | Nicholas Schultz | 68 | 76 | 76 | 76 | 64 | 74 | 80 | 75 | 53 | 58 | 71 | 69 | 65 | 64 | 31 |
While the depth isn't great we have our biggest leader and point scorer here in Galta. We expect a great CT season from him, hopefully scoring 500+ points. Scultz is a great nr.2 that will both support Galta in some races and get some chances by himself. Unfortunately we lack support behind him, something we will have to fix in the future.
| Nat. | Name | FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | Leo Vincent | 70 | 71 | 74 | 77 | 68 | 79 | 72 | 70 | 65 | 67 | 71 | 69 | 70 | 69 | 30 | | Sergey Luchshenko | 72 | 65 | 70 | 75 | 63 | 77 | 72 | 78 | 63 | 75 | 75 | 71 | 72 | 65 | 31 | | Matthew Holmes | 70 | 72 | 74 | 75 | 61 | 71 | 73 | 69 | 61 | 67 | 71 | 71 | 68 | 62 | 32 | | Ziga Groselj | 69 | 63 | 69 | 75 | 72 | 72 | 73 | 68 | 53 | 72 | 72 | 72 | 63 | 72 | 32 | | Mario Vogt | 72 | 61 | 70 | 79 | 65 | 77 | 70 | 64 | 57 | 61 | 62 | 62 | 61 | 65 | 33 |
A part of the team we are really proud of, headlined by Vincent and Luchshenko we got both depth and some of the best riders (in our opinion) in the division. We have riders that can both attack early and win, and wait til the sprint and win from a small group. We added Groselj who is a strong Time Trialist late in the window, while Holmes who can also ride some longer mouintains joined in the draft. We also sincerely believe that Vogt will surprise this year after having a break last season.
Time Trials and Prologues
| Nat. | Name | FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | Benjamin Thomas | 73 | 56 | 61 | 66 | 78 | 75 | 73 | 70 | 64 | 74 | 79 | 64 | 66 | 79 | 30 | | Luke Keough | 70 | 57 | 58 | 59 | 55 | 62 | 68 | 68 | 56 | 76 | 74 | 60 | 72 | 77 | 34 | | Markus Kopfauf | 69 | 62 | 65 | 67 | 65 | 67 | 74 | 67 | 52 | 74 | 73 | 70 | 68 | 81 | 29 |
A part of the team we believe will get us quite some points this season. Thomas is one of the best timetrialists in the division, and while we could've wished for one with some more abilities in the hills he makes up for it by being a capable sprinter. Keough and Kopfauf might not like the long time trials but the love the shortes ones, and as Thomas they back it up by being ok sprinters. We expect them to do well in prologues and then defend that in the sprints.
| Nat. | Name | FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | Bert Van Lerberghe | 73 | 59 | 62 | 65 | 65 | 73 | 72 | 72 | 76 | 74 | 71 | 67 | 64 | 67 | 33 |
Bert may have wished for some support, but that didn't happen... We still believe he will do very well over the season, specially with the rumours that Polderstrijders wont show up. We always wanted a cobble presence and just have to hope that Bert can give us that!
| Nat. | Name | FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | Clement Russo | 73 | 65 | 69 | 73 | 65 | 73 | 73 | 76 | 68 | 76 | 78 | 66 | 64 | 65 | 30 |
While it may look weak with only Russo here, we have to remember that Luchsenko, Thomas, Keuogh, Kopfauf and Lerberghe all can sprint aswell. So while we lack a top, top sprinter we have strenght in numbers, and strenght in ability to fight on other terrains. Russo is a good rider in the hills, while having great backups. We expect him to overscore his sprinting ability!
| Nat. | Name | FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | Arno Wallenborn | 67 | 64 | 67 | 69 | 56 | 69 | 71 | 68 | 56 | 60 | 68 | 68 | 71 | 56 | 22 | | Maicol Adrian Tabarez | 65 | 70 | 66 | 61 | 67 | 66 | 65 | 69 | 55 | 57 | 61 | 66 | 71 | 66 | 22 | | Camilo Andres Gomez | 62 | 67 | 67 | 67 | 64 | 66 | 67 | 67 | 57 | 59 | 64 | 66 | 68 | 63 | 22 |
We got more, and better riders there than we really expected. All 3 have abilities to stay on the team for years and we hope they can become building stones for our future team. Not much expected this season except for development.
| Nat. | Name | FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | Gustav Wang | 69 | 59 | 65 | 70 | 70 | 68 | 69 | 66 | 61 | 63 | 66 | 65 | 65 | 69 | 22 | | Kiaan Watts | 65 | 66 | 66 | 65 | 66 | 63 | 73 | 69 | 60 | 64 | 66 | 74 | 73 | 64 | 24 | | Carl-Frederik Bevort | 70 | 55 | 59 | 63 | 68 | 66 | 69 | 66 | 65 | 66 | 70 | 67 | 60 | 70 | 22 | | David Beckham Elkatohchoongo | 71 | 56 | 58 | 60 | 66 | 67 | 66 | 60 | 65 | 57 | 68 | 68 | 62 | 72 | 22 |
Filling out the squad with 4 riders joining to get experience. Wang and Bevort joined as part of the Galta deal and thus we are paying their wage and will develop them. Watts and Beckham (I refuse to use his last name) joined in wage shareing agreements making them cheap domestiques. Both will develop and come back to their original teams stronger.
We feel we have assambled a strong CT team this season and are looking forward to how the season will go!
Big thanks to Knockout for the forum tool, helps alot!

Super solid team. I guess you've done this before
Probably a promotion contender at the very least.

incredible effort but i had no doubt about that i'm pretty sure this is the promotion joint favourite with Kraftwerk do think this could come down to the GC riders planning as to who will come out on top and how much Galta low hill stat effect his performances |

Quite the team to be in CT! Featuring 2 of our former riders in Thomas who could be one of the best pick ups as a high scoring TT rider, and could do very well in C1 and HC races too. Vincent also a very capable puncheur at CT level. Combined with Galta who will be dominant although challenging to plan. A very good effort!

Not the best cobble department, but it still looks like a team that's locked for promotion

You're probably not the division favourite, but surely you're fighting for promotion - Galta alone should make that sure. I hope to see you in PCT next season!
