The pirates from Podium Ambition don't go for the surprise and keep it carribean, picking the Aruban Renze Postma. At first glance you think he would really be worth developing into a max rider in the next two years. At second glance you take a better look at his energy stats.

Ooooooooooooh we're halfway there. And immediately over halfway as well, as it's time for Kraftwerk Man Machine's two draft picks. Two experienced Germans for them with Christian Mager and Jonas Koch. Mager was part of Würth's promoting team last season and could still be of use as a puncheur domestique or wildcard, whereas Koch is an interesting rider for a sprint train.

Podium Ambition going Cuban with their second pick. Hidalgo Vera Hernandez is not just a nice name, it's a decent rider with no clear weaknesses, being able to carry water bottles on every terrain.

Tafjord Kraft did go local for their second pick, as Norwegian veteran Carl Fredrik Hagen joins them for the season. the 34 year old has a similar skillset to their previous pick in Shaw, hopefully they can both perform well for Tafjord in the upcoming season.

Euskotren - Pays Basque brought Gougeard back home earlier, but this time they're going for a new rider. It could be said it's a little bit of a surprise for the 32 year old puncheur Jan Dieteren to be picked this late, but I'm sure manager Imladrik doesn't mind the surprise. At first sight, Dieteren really has what it takes to score some nice points in CT.

Thought hard about using my last replacement rider on Dieteren instead of Gogl. Maybe made the wrong choice. Should be a good asset in CT.

Air New Zealand-Prada is the final one of the teams that already existed with a second draft pick, and so far nobody had to go lower on their list for a pick. Their number ten pick will join them this season (feeling welcome much), as the 30 year old South Korean Ha Jeon Jung can book his flight to Wellington. to be fair, still a 77 puncheur, who knows what he can do.
