I see the idea behind trimming the climbing department a bit, a lot of similar riders that you most likely wont notice are going 1 or 2 good riders on another terrain could take you a long way. With Rossi and Gulietti as leuitenants your team are screaming for a cobble leader (I believe you should be able to max Rossi yourself?)

After his training I'm sure everyone was expecting our goals to revolve around our main man, and we're not backing him in half measures, we're going all in on maximising his season and his point scoring ability. We know the goals are ambitious but we don't see any reason why we can't complete 4 out of 5 of them, we know it might take some luck but we back Hirschi to be the favourite in every race he rides.

On an unrelated note, our opening posts are all fully updated for the new season, Hirschi is now the only rider to have 7 seasons in our jersey(although others may have been owned for more if you include Loan Outs) and easily holds our points record before even turning a wheel this season, but Misbah is just eclipsing him for total race days after factoring in both their planned schedules.

Jokes aside, I think Hirschi and Misbah should drag the team clear of relegation danger this year. Einhorn will also have some good days. And while your climbing department isn't as stacked anymore as it used to be, it's still very solid depth.

Looking forward to see what you can do this year, and hoping for at least 15th place

The task here isn't to get Hirschi to dominate, but to get the others to score significantly enough to promote. I think you have a top 10 team on your hands. Whether it's enough to get a promotion spot is often down to luck and manager skills. But I think you are among the teams having a fair shot at promotion!

Going into this season we released 4 riders, 2 of which found new homes through Free Agency in Natarov and Hibahtullah going to Indosat and Ethiopian respectively, unfortunately for Tsen and Campero they couldn't find new homes in the peloton for 2026 and you have to feel like it's going to be retirement for the Bolivian, he will at least join the team car for the Vuelta al Tachira sharing his knowledge to Antonelli as he leads the line in a race we have become synonymous with thanks to the Bolivian.

Then during transfers we saw Lazkano leave us for Peugeot before eventually moving on to Parmalat and Zijlaard left us in a swap deal with Rabobank. We thank them both for their service and whilst we had high hopes for the Dutch Sprinter we felt it a necessary sacrifice to sign Hirschi a very well suited lieutenant.




The Zijlaard swap was arguably our only big move of the transfer window, getting Andreas Kron back in return, he's going to be crucial for Hirschi's season and will get a couple of rare opportunities to go for himself as reward for agreeing to this role. Speaking of Hirschi's helpers Joni Kanerva joins us out of Free Agency after spending last season with Cycle Yorkshire in the PT and we managed to convince Sean De Bie that if you can't beat us then you should join us. He spent last season as the lead puncher of Jewa Tirol and he couldn't outscore Hirschi on the final day of the season allowing us to stay PCT at their expense. This year he'll be teaming up with the Swiss Star giving him that veteran presence in his support ranks.

The only other rider we signed from another team this season was Beka Nareklishvili, the 30 year old Georgian joins us from Dk Zalgiris to add some blessings and to be the 1B to Rossi's 1A in our cobbled campaign, we've seen how strong the division is in cobbles this season and are hoping between them we should be in contention for top 10's.

The other big goal for our transfer season was trying to build a leadout train for Einhorn, it may have taken all of the transfer season to accomplish but we eventually managed to get a long awaited reunion with Federico Olei, he left us for MrE's team after a loan to them way back in 2020 and finally makes his long awaited return after being released by our good friends at Colombini Kometa. The other half of our new leadout train completes our double blessing by signing Aksel Nommela who was released by DK Zalgiris. He also doubles as an occasional cobble domestique where we hope his fast finish will allow him to secure a good placing in the lower groups.

The last 2 signings we made this season were both young Sammarinese riders as we added Andrea Chiarucci and Luca Scarponi to the ranks making it 12/20 Sammarinese in our colours this year, and if you include those Loaned out we are now at 15 Sammarinese riders owned, an increase in both counts on last season and another step closer to our goal of becoming fully Sammarinese, we just need to pray enough riders turn professional to allow us to achieve it.



Finally we get onto our Loaned out riders for the year, this includes the final piece of the Zijlaard deal, with Bolor -Erndene joining us only to get loaned out to Deutsche Windguard alongside Ghani with both riders helping out the newly formed CT team in a similar deal to what Maccagli had with Bianchi last season, let's hope it's as good an omen for them as it was for the Italians.

Speaking of Zijlaard, Ginamarco Garofoli follows him to Rabobank for the season, albeit only in a temporary switch, as the young puncher looks to take the next step in his development.

The last 2 riders to go out on loan this season are Bagnara and Quadrelli who are both developing at Los Pollos Hermanos in the Pro Tour, both riders are going to gain valuable experience and come back much stronger and ready to help the team next season.



Overall we achieved our transfer goals of finding support for Hirschi, gaining a leadout train for Einhorn, becoming more Sammarinese and making sure no Sammarinese riders were left without a contract. Even if we aren't favoured for a strong placement in PCT we are happy with how our transfer season went and are looking forward to the new season.
