Congrats MAL. The best of rivals and there was truly nobody else outside of Xero I wanted to see in rainbows. Well deserved, the rainbow jersey reveal will be a beautiful thing.
I know Areruya got his number in the rankings and in Lombardia, but Balkans being such a comprehensive beating and then especially the Worlds being the biggest race of their lives were big blows landed towards the end of the season. Sets a very interesting table for 2025!
Spoiler Now hurry up and turn 33 god damn! Two more years?! For Herklotz too!

jt & bbl & Heine & Eden & hoyle - Thanks everyone! This was an amazing way to win the first WC. Really looking forward to seeing the rainbow jersey in action, the jersey will posted at a later point
sammy - i'm very happy with the loan ins ive got over the years and have high hopes to make them count once again this year. We'll see soon how that works out!
jandal - Best of rivals indeed. Feels like both of them have the upside often enough that it feels very even matched between them

Brilliant and very, very cool to see MAL claim the Worlds title. Such a win too! Really hope he gets to show off the rainbow jersey and have a sensational 2025 too, to properly honor the jersey. That would be well deserved |

Indeed, a great - and well deserved - win by MAL! Launching the sprint from the front and just pulling through is amazing, not many could have done this! I'd obviously not have been unhappy to see him run out of steam on the final meters
But definitely a worthy World Champion, enjoy the upcoming season with the WC jersey

Congratulations on the Worlds victory! Not the most exciting availability list in the world but Polanc might well attract some attention (from me, and hopefully nobody else).

Spoiler jph - thanks! I would love it but its gonna be tough to improve more than others!
We can confirm that our jersey will stay the same for another season.
The original design was made by aidanvn and the_hoyle updated it with new secondary sponsors for us at some point.

FA Signing #1: Lilian Calmejane
Lilian Calmejane (33)| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | | 73 | 70 | 73 | 76 | 66 | 72 | 75 | 72 | 59 | 71 | 75 | 77 | 69 | 69 |
We start our transfer season with the free agent signing of Lilian Calmejane. Lilian is a puncheur who will play a core role in our hills support for Miguel Angel Lopez. He is very versatile and combines some abilities on the tougher mountains with good rouleur abilities. If given the freedom to attack, he is also a fast finisher from small groups. He will earn 50,000 and we are extremely excited that we have secured a rider who has been on top of our wishlist since the beginning of the off-season process.

Can't help but feel that the french focused team, had their focus a bit off this season when Calmejane can be signed for 50K off the bat. He's WAAY too good for that, and will work perfectly as a domestique for MAL, and a breakaway rider. I think (depending on how often he get's a free role), that he will score aproximately 150 points this season.
Well done mate!

I have to second SotD there, but with some really nice French talents available the focus was clearly elsewhere. But maybe being part of a potential title contender is actually the better option at this time in his career.

SotD - I wouldnt blame the french teams. Some of them clearly have a preference for younger riders or have so many holes due to forgetting signing any riders for a couple years now that they have to pick their fights.
kandes - I think Lilian wouldnt have fit into a team as young as yours anyway. Fits much better into my ageing hierarchy
Croatia - If i remember correctly, he was part of one of your title squads? Definitely remember him as part of your team. Back then for a far bigger wage although not declined yet.
DD - Absolutely agree

Congrats on Calmejane, great signing - he won Balkans the first time I reported it after getting in a break on Stage 1. And it was one time when a guy winning GC after being in a break really felt right. He had the perfect stats for holding on.
