We're back, baby!
The team enjoyed their year as Oxxo - Frisby and secured their spot in PT, but something just felt... off.
Los Pollos Hermanos is back from never really gone, and we're taking the 'going back to the roots' thing seriously. From now on the team will totally shift to having riders race for them that developed at least one year at the team. This definitely means we will not have a viable PT team this season or anytime soon/ever, but we hope to be a solid pct team within this and 2/3 seasons further. So both this off-season and the off-season next time will see a focus on selling riders that were not at the team before maxed, and training self developed riders. And definitely developing many more.
Concerning the jersey... When something is perfect, why change it? Well, the spectacular Ezeefreak (Eze) did make a little change, as he removed our old co-sponsor from the beautiful jersey that was made by hillis some seasons ago, so we're glad to bring it back to you now. Ladies and gentleman, enjoy the jersey you've always loved for yet another season!

Love to see LPH back, as you say, having Oxxo taking their place somehow just felt wrong...
However, shifting the focus so much in the year where Gaviria is available feels pretty weird - maybe you'll negotiate an exception with your sponsors, just like Ezee did
I'm sure we'll talk a lot once again, but I'm not sure we'll finally reach an agreement Should be fun nonetheless
Good luck for transfers and your ambitious project!

As long as everyone's favorite jersey is still out there the rest doesn't matter.

You should make the jersey more colorful, might be hard to spot you in the peloton with such a bland jersey...
Sounds like you are going to have a big turnaround with the development rule, wishing you good luck in the transfer season as I liked how your team was built with the climbing focus followed by an awesome TT train and a great sprinter in Halvorsen!

Hate to say it but the jersey is growing on me. Not joining the fan club, but growing on me a bit
Awesome project you're committing too, always follow you guys of course but definitely will be keeping an even closer eye on how you go about that as someone who's thought about but never been committed enough to go for a similar thing

All I can read is people absolutely loving the jersey, thanks for that, the love is mutual!
No standalone renewals post here, but a small recap: Developed talents and time trialists getting a bit greedy, Pira thinks he's worth something and leaders staying the same or taking a decent pay cut. Only released rider is greek titan Vlatos, who can hopefully end his career at his home team this season.
Now, the thing that might actually be interesting for some people, the...
Marlen Zmorka - A decent time trialist, has done quite some stuff for the team. Suitable for any division I'd say.
Jasha Sütterlin - a 79 time trialist, ready to rip CT apart, or potentially do half of that in PCT as well.
Ryan Eastman - Good guy. Had three PT(HC) stage races of a week or more, and was second everywhere! Also a solid top-5 in a GT without any real domestiques.
Daniel Eaton - A 77 TT domestique or CT leader, who's a nice domestique on other terrains as well.
Gabriel Marin - I swear to god himself that Marin will actually be really good in any division that is not PT. Might keep him myself to prove a point that he was just unlucky last season.
ALSO when transfer season arrives will highly likely try to find someone that likes to pay a nice chunk of wage from a lvl 1-3 loan to make you rich, as well as potentially 1-3's where I pay the full (low/medium) wage.
ALSO potentially on his way out for a season is Yesid Albeiro Pira, with me paying his wage. Since I'll relegate anyway it might be an idea to see how he handles PCT or CT.
Other names theoretically should stay, but definitely the non self developed riders might always be on their way out for the right deal.

That's a monstrosity. Absolutely no shade towards the designers, I feel bad for hillis and Ezee having to 'work with' your instructions, which I can only assume were "idk throw some lego blocks in neon colours together and see where we get"
Aside from that though...some very interesting ideas in your availability update, I'm sure we'll be in touch if you can get over my criticism.

Is it training time since you consider loaning out Pira like that? Interesting choise, but could make sense
I really hope Vlatos could make his final races at our team too! Would be a fitting way to his long journey, as the single Titan ever!
Also very interesting to see the potential offloading of timetriallists. I mean, I get it after some are becoming a bit greedy and the calender isn't really helpful, but maybe we'll have some talks regardless

They're back! And nobody will be able to ignore them in any pictures of the peloton
Your new approach to team-building is clearly interesting (and will probably lead to us meeting in PCT next season), but with those riders available you should be able to invest in training (and this certain planned expensive loan) quite a bit this year.

Just wanted to clarify that Sutterlin has spoken with a number of reporters and indicated a desire to stay in the Pro Tour. He has no desire to deal with those whippersnappers in CT or even PCT for that manner. Don't upset the man and ensure he gets to compete at the highest level.
Otherwise, very much looking forward to your list of availability. You helped us out with Merchan's development last year and we have to love our Latin American compatriots. Excited to see where these guys may go and how we may be able to collaborate.

Should be a fun transfer season with a couple of top riders available. One last bid on Gaviria this year?
Also... Bring back Oxxo!!

You love to see it! No idea what's up with people who can't see beauty in this masterpiece of a jersey, but I hope they'll see the light someday.
I always love a specific project, so I really like the idea of using only self-developed riders. And yes, you'll suffer in the short term, but I don't think that it condemns you to "just" PCT forever at all! You've proven yourself a good team builder over and over, and if you won't pay transfer fees ... so much money left over for training

The best jersey in MG history is back
Love the dedication to the project and am really interested to see how it plays out for you for the coming season. Wish you all of the luck with it Also, Halvorsen not listed as available - did he spend a season with you while he was developing? Or is he possibly on the chopping block too?

Well, well, well. The back to the roots theme for your team surely feels right when there is a certain Mexican added to the DB. Excited to see how much attention he'll get! |

They're back! IT's BACK!! I need shades for this.
Honestly speaking, I have always rooted for success for the Chicken Brothers, so it's a bit of a double edged sword for me regarding the new direction. However, will gladly put those thoughts behind me and follow the new path your team takes with interest.
Also looking forward to racing more regularly with and against your team this season

My poor eyes. I am very interested to see the new look of the squad given the big names deemed surplus to requirements. Won't be the same if it isn't Manninen and Zmorka wearing that awful clash of colours :P
