What can you expect? Our goal is to put Italy back on the ManGame map. A country rich with cycling history has been reduced to a minnow. We aim to change that.
Of course it is our first year on the circuit, so we can't expect much, but we can lay the foundation for something potentially great.
Our main sponsor Parmalat would ideally like to see at least 50% of our squad be from Italy.
EcoPetrol, our Colombian secondary sponsor, would like 2-3 Colombian riders on the team.
Parmalat has a global presence as a brand name, but is primarily known in North- and South America and the southern part of Africa. Perhaps we will aim to have a rider or two from those parts of the world.

Finish in the top 10 of the CT team standings
We have, hopefully, signed a lot of point scorers, so that although we lack a real top rider, we will still haul in many points from many riders across many different races. The dropouts in the division have of course helped us in achieving this goal.
Win at least 8 stages in stage races
This is the reason our calendar is filled with stage races. We aim to win at least 8 stages across the season. A difficult goal for sure, but we have confidence in our squads ability to win in many different ways.
Win the KOM jersey in Tour de Pologne
Our C1 goal for the season. We tried to pick one where we didn't have to compete for wins or top results, but rather one we can go after with aggresive riding, which we will hopefully be able to do in Poland.
To help us do it, we have picked the following riders:
Avila, Freddy Alejandro
Gabburo, Davide
Mosca, Jacopo
Talacka, Lukas
Velasco, Simone
Wackermann, Luca
Zana, Filippo
Zordan, Andrea
Win the Vuelta al Tachira
Another stage race, but this time we actually aim to win the entire race and not just stages. A difficult task, but a challenge that we are up for. One the following riders will hopefully stand atop the podium after the final stage in Venezuela:
Cattaneo, Mattia
Ciccone, Giulio
Fraile, Omar
Manfredi, Andrea
Miholjevic, Fran
Pereyra, Pedro Pablo
Quintana, Nairo
Tusveld, Martijn
Win Giro del Trentino
A race on our home turf, A race that is prestigious, A race that is important and could play a vital part in our teams history for years to come. We want to be visible, aggressive and victorious.
Avila, Freddy Alejandro
Cattaneo, Mattia
Ciccone, Giulio
Fraile, Omar
Price-Pejtersen, Johan
Restrepo, Jhonatan
Talacka, Lukas
Tusveld, Martijn

Welcome to the game! I like the nationalities combo and I like the jersey! I guess we might end up battling for some Colombians

Pretty crazy that we didnt have a primary Italian team rn so it definitely is a market where its nice to see a new team trying to establish themselves. Cool jersey!
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Thanks guys!
Yeah, I hard a thorough look at sponsor nationalities and realised that Italy was heavily underrepresented. I wanted to fix that. |

Welcome! Love having an Italian team back in the peloton. Hopefully you can build a team you're happy with during transfers and can establish Italy as a strong cycling nation once again

Welcome to the game! And let's hope your Italian project is more successful (and sustainable) than the previous attempts in the last seasons. It hasn't been a lucky country lately...

Welcome!
Great to see that Italy is getting back on the MG map as a primary sponsor country - when I started back in 2019 (with a Swiss-Italian team), Generali were one of my favourite teams in PT, and in their final year Mapei joined them in PT. Mapei manager Heine is back, so I guess he should know how to lead an Italian team to success
All the best - and don't hesitate to ask questions if there should be any left

I agree with the others. It's well overdue that we have a primary Italian team in the peloton. I like the secondary focus as well

Welcome to the game! And a very good pick to take on the Italian market, which is really not flooded by any means...
Also the mixture of Italy and Colombia brings good memories of Ceramica Panaria, Colombia - Selle Italia and Androni with Sella, Pozzovivo, Simoni, Rujano, Scarponi, Belletti, Ginanni, Serpa, Contreras, Pellizotti and Perez Cuapio although the latter was Mexican if i'm not mistaken
A cool jersey aswell, to get noted from the first race seems like a good idea.

I really like that your first major choices are already based on an analysis of the current state of the game, I'd say that's a promising sign Wouldn't be surprised to see you pick up the other elements quickly as well. And if you're interested in African riders, maybe we'll have a chat during transfers, too!
I agree with the others on the jersey as well and it's great that you've made it yourself. No pressure obviously, but capable shirt makers have become rarer and rarer in the MG, so in case you might be interested in creating more, do let the people know

As long as people know, that I am not on the level of guys like hillis91 and Eezefreek, then sure

Exactly the nostalgic vibe I was aiming at I loved those teams. |

Ayyy welcome! Not much to add that hasn't been said, an Italian team is such a great choice given the state of the game, and a South American focus also fits very well. And as SotD said, the mix is a cool one given the 2000s-Early 2010s crossover teams irl.
Also, love the avatar
