A real grind of a season for you in the end Red, felt for you a couple of time in the race discussion because the riders just weren't active and instead content to just grind away to 7th-12th places which while not fun is quite effective at staying in the division hopefully next season will see some more active rides for you

But as was shown with Moser two good riders aren't enough. On the other hand I don't think the sponsors will agree to stop investing in those two
This is the first time in all 7 years that we have successfully completed the mandatory win goal. We knew heading into the race that we had a chance, but the fact we did it in such an emphatic manner came as a slight surprise. Tadej Pogacar won two stages on his way to a comfortable overall victory.
Giro d'Italia - FAILURE
This race was a big disappointment as a whole. The final nail in the coffin was Tao Geoghegan Hart missing out on the top 10 by finishing 11th overall.
GP Liechtenstein - SUCCESS
This was the one goal that we were very confident in achieving. It wasn't one of our better races, but in the end Tadej Pogacar finished 7th, so more than enough.
Tour de France - SUCCESS
It's the biggest race in the world so it was again one of our prime targets. This time we were aiming for a more difficult top 5 result, but with the training in the off season Tadej Pogacar was up to the task. Tadej finished 4th overall and the entire team added two stage wins and more podiums in what turned out to be a key race for securing the team's status in PT.
PT Team Standings - FAILURE
This was the massive failure as we had a very bad season in comparison to our sponsors expectations by only finishing 16th. While our three leaders did solid enough, our plan to replace some of the depth scoring from last year failed badly. Even some of the riders that performed for us in the past went awol. In the end it was too much to overcome and we'll need come up with some new solutions next year.

No need to say sorry, you said nothing wrong. I just don't want to think about PCT just yet. Even if it may happen as soon as the following season
Tadej was again our primary GC leader and took on an even bigger role after his off-season mountain training. 3/4 sponsor goals were Tadej's races and he delivered in all of them. So all in all we are very happy with the season he had. It was never going to be easy not having the almost 200 points from the U25 classification this year, but we think the final points total matches at least somewhat with other similar riders.

This was a big step year for Ivan as he was thrust into a leadership position after a large training fee was invested. He definitely answered the call with consistent results across the season. He finished the season as a top 10 cobbler in PT. A huge success story for him and our Balkan cycling project!

His final GC placings in some stage races were just a few spots below where we think he should've been. Dusan was the team's only sprinter so we had a lot of flexibility in his race planning. His season felt somewhat underwhelming, but like some others he really stepped up at the Tour where he got his first GT stage victory. A solid season for sure, but we feel there is still room for improvement.

Gasper Katrasnik
Without a big name sprinter Gasper was given free reign in the flat classics. Unfortunately his aggressive riding only paid off on one occasion. But with the points he managed to accrue in Tirreno-Adriatico he was able to make up for his lack of scoring elsewhere.

We are going to have to make a big decision on Santiago. His season just didn't pan out anywhere near what we expected from him. He had plenty of opportunities to ride for himself in races without Pogacar, but couldn't capitalize. In the end his only notable result came in the race he rode with Pogacar.

Daniel Hoelgaard
Daniel came in to replace David Gaudu and we looked at finding him some scoring opportunities. That came to fruition in Deutschland with a well planned KOM attack. We feel we can find even more opportunities for him depending on the calendar and team composition next year. He would also be an excellent domestique if we could acquire a leader for the hilly races.

Outside of Pogacar our stage racing department didn't work out at all. Daniel made little to no impact outside of the Grand Tours and even there his GC results were underwhelming. We know now we need to look for a different structure around Pogacar next season.

Riley Sheehan
Lots of race days for Riley this year, but he certainly showed what he's capable of even as a level 3 rider. He mostly used his puncheur skills to enter breakaways and score points via KOMs.

Miha is such a reliable domestique for us in so many races. We even added him to the Tour de France squad this season. But his speciality is cobbles where he is often Ivan Siric' last remaining domestique.

Yevgeniy Fedorov
It was a learning season for Yevgeniy as he rode the majority of one day races. The goal for him next season is to emulate Poljanec and be a solid support rider for Ivan Siric in the cobbled classics.
Dylan Redy
On loan from the now defunct ISA - Hexacta team. Dylan also rode mostly classics, but tackled the Vuelta a Espana to gain the experience needed. We wish luck in finding a new team in the coming transfer season.
Dorde Duric
Another local talent that is gaining experience towards becoming a solid cobbled rider. He made some impact by going in breakaways this season which was nice to see.
Husein Selimovic
Husein did a lot of racing across the board. A Grand Tour, week long stage races, cobbled classics, the lot. No signature results, but we love his versatility and ability to be a domestique and breakaway rider.
Robert Power
While Robert perhaps performed adequately as a mountain domestique, he didn't provide much of any depth scoring or individual results. As such he falls under the umbrella of our failing climbing setup.
Logan Currie
Logan focused on the time-trial races and became a regular fixture in our TTT lineup. He's still a got a ways to go, but he has time before we transition our time-trialing core to the next iteration.
Izidor Penko
Izidor is slowly getting up there in age and is taking on a more mentorship role with the younger time-trialists. He's still a viable option to be put in any race on the calendar, but it's been a while since he's scored a notable result. Next year, maybe?
Kees Duyvesteyn
Kees is an old friend of ours having previously been a permanent member of our team. ELCO - ABEA wanted some cap relief. Development wasn't a priority, but we found enough race days to make it happen. Unfortunately there wasn't a meaningful breakaway appearance among them.
Veljko Stojnic
This was Veljko's final unmaxed season so he's on course to fill a similar role like Izidor Penko as a versatile time-trialist. Outside of TTs we need to look for races where he can use his solid engine to be an impactful helper or scorer.
Giulio Ciccone
This has to be a contender for the worst signing we've ever made. The idea to send a relatively well balanced climber to all three Grand Tours seemed pretty good on paper, but it amounted to absolutely nothing.
Alexander Salby
Finally another rider on loan from the now defunct ISA - Hexacta team. He spent his time riding the cobbled and flat classics and did perfectly fine filling out those lineups. He could've done some lead out work if we had a sprinter, but we're sure he'll find a spot in the peloton for next year.

There are a total of 10 riders this year that have received stat gains, 6 of those from our targeted region, the Balkans. Three have finished their development while another five had taken the biggest leap going from lvl 3 to lvl 4. Though it's a tall task, we hope the development of these riders will bear more fruit in the upcoming season than what we got this year.

From stagiare to maxed rider. Veljko will add some time-trialing depth where it's needed. He should be a solid all round domestique, especially on flatter terrain and could perhaps even get involved in sprint preparation.

Another story that started with a stagiare contract and via many loans leads to finished development. Kristjan is a natural punchy climber, but he spent his final year working more on his sustained effort as he may be required to ride in a more consistent manner as a helper for Tadej Pogacar. Riley was the big free agent investment from the transfer season. He still has another year before his maxed stats that could make him a protected rider in some niche races. But he proved this year he can be an effective contributor even outside of his presumed favoured races.

Another free agent investment we made last year. We're not sure if Yevgeniy will be good enough to aim for a strong in Arenberg, but we still thought his time-trialing ability gives him very nice versatility. If we don't improve the cobbled team with outside help then he probably projects as our best cobbled domestique next season.

Depending on what decisions we make in transfer Logan may turn out to be our best time-trialist heading into next season. Luckily he still has a season of development left. He's climbing skills aren't that good so we focused the training more on becoming better on the flat.

The hope for Husein is that he can leverage his strong energy stats to overcome his more modest climbing ability. Add in his acceleration and we hope to see him in more breakaways, similar to how he was on loan as a level 1 rider. Of course he is also a long term helper for Pogacar.

After spending last season on loan this was Dorde's first season with us. He's a cobbles specialist so he continues developing that skills set to become a valuable helper for Ivan Siric. Perhaps next season he can start targeting a top 50 result in one of the cobbled classics.

One more for the cobbles! Aljaz spent the last two seasons on loan, he's also a late bloomer, but we think he probably spends next season with the team so he can see what PT racing is like. He's a cobbles first rider, but there is still the chance he develops more as an all around rouleur.

Aleks on the same trajectory as Jarc. He's a time-trial specialist. He doesn't really have the potentially to score on his own, but he'll be able to fit into a team time-trialing squad if we ever need to prioritise that sort of race.

As someone who has made multiple questionable deals the one that I really regret is trading Fred Wright after his stagiare season. What a complete rider.
As you note Sheehan works for a certain niche, Tour of South Africa, Denmark, Norway all come to my mind - if only he were on a team that raced some of those.
Another really interesting one is Fedorov. Not sure if it is intentional but you seem to specialize in riders with unusual skill sets.

Is it really a strong talent focus? I'd say teams like Aker, Evonik, Rabobank have way stronger talents than me and are also already way better teams. You have stronger talents as well coming up
