Very sad to hear you will be leaving the game. I've been around nearly as long at this point, and when you talk about all the milestones you've reached, it really makes me realize how long I've been part of the MG as well and some of my own milestones that I've achieved personally since then.
Based on my own experiences, I can definitely relate to losing interest in cycling as well as the MG, and its only sensible to step away when that happens.
I'm fairly sure we've dealt with each other during transfers at some point, but even if we haven't, it was a pleasure to play the game alongside you, as I've always enjoyed the team you had.

31.03.2022 was my last (til now) post on this board. I was going to start a new job the next day and my activity and motivation had mostly dissapeared. I went pretty much went "cold turkey" and didn't even visited the forum for a long time. Did I at time regret my decision? Yes, I did, but it came at the right time for me then.
After that I still some time automatically wrote pcmdaily in my searchbar and lurked a bit. Read some team threads, checked up how some teams were doing and even downloaded a database or 2 and scrolled trough them for old times sake, I even visited this thread at times and read all the nice messages here. It felt kinda wrong to log in, so I never got around to answering them. So now, 3 years later, I would like to say thanks for all the nice words! I have a lot of great memories with all of you!
But why am I really posting? Last week I was really bored at work, went on here and actually logged in (I had two unopened PMs about stat increases :lol . I noticed that the season was soon over and sent Roturn a short message just to get a feeling for when a new season would start. With how my work, life and everything looks it does feel like this could be the right time to try to get back here, join up and talk about some old memories and create some new. I will try refreshing the page every day to see when applications can be sent and hope I get accepted back.

This was my last team, finishing 18th in PT and relagated 200 pts less than EA Vesuvio on 15th. If I get accepted back it will be with a different approach. But still, some good memories

Heine!
Super nice to see you post again. Definitely excited to see you join again, if you're allowed to. And seeing how it has been the last seasons regarding applications, I think you have a very good chance of joining the fun again |

Good to see you (hopefully) back! Always liked following your team and was sad to see you go - hopefully you’ll be back in the game next season

Heine! Awesome to hear from you and read your update. I think I can empathize with your path and decision a lot more now than I could even a few years ago. It would be amazing to have you back, and I have no doubt that you would be accepted if you end up applying! The game has missed you.
Not as important, but on a purely gameplay level, I can say that your team has had a very lasting effect on mine—Guldhammer and Trentin ended up leading me to promotion the year after you left, and though they both have been sold at this point due to heavy declines now, it was that blockbuster trade with Mapei that set the stage for my team to escape the constant PCT/CT bubble zone and finally become a mid-table PT team. It was always a pleasure to deal with you during transfers, and I hope we can do it again soon!

Thanks Nice to hear that I was part of a future-altering trade (s if I remember correctly) for your team
Always a pleasure to deal with you aswell, and looking forward to potentially doing so again, maybe this time it will be something to help me promote
And your team looks really great now, with some really nice riders, specially with Skjelmose Jensen developing. Him, Per, Aranburu and Walls is a great foundation for the future

You finished not very long after I started, and I don't recall us discussing any transfers or being in the same races a lot, but definitely glad to see you've regained the enthusiasm to come back. Not the first of those, as stated by jt above, which does show the MG is something special for sure. Looking forward to you being a part of it again!

I think we were in very different worlds of the MG back in the day, as my original team never made it to the PT, but as someone who also re-joined this season after a decade away, I can definitely recommend going for it! Although I am not looking forward to having such strong competition in the CT division next year
