BLOCK 6Flanders' Finest
4/04/2025La Route Adélie de VitréCT2
5/04/2025GP InduráinCT+
5/04/2025Volta Limburg ClassicCT1
6/04/2025Ronde van VlaanderenM

After today's races, we're halfway through the game. Still, we have 3 monument to go, starting with Ronde Van Vlaanderen in Block 6. The warmup races are Adélie de Vitré in France, our only Spanish classic the GP Indurian and the Volta Limburg Classic in the Netherlands.

I will need your startlists by friday morning 10h00 CET. I again want to stress this is a hard deadline and even a minute late won't be accepted.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Finally a good result from one of my riders (though in a minor race) ... a shame he wasn't on the startlist when nominations were due Rolling Eyes The season is getting worse and worse as we should be near to a zero-pointer in this block again.

Thanks nonetheless for organizing and keeping us updated, Ollfardh!

Yay, a teammate point for Rota in France and a 16th place by Wright in Belgium... Might be our worst block ever, turns out the draft was really awful. Silly me thinking I got some good riders ^^

Block 5 results

With the big two skiping this block, there were opportunities for other riders. Mads Pedersen made the most of it and won in Wevelgem after an impressive solo. With Milan also on the podium, it was a very good day for the L. The Turuls also scored well with Merlier and Kristoff finally getting a big result.

La Roue Tourangelle was won by the undrafted Blikra, who also got a good result in De Panne last week. Coquard was not selected by his incompetent manager, so Thijssen made the Racoons the big winner of the race.

Back to the cobbles for the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad 2015, oh wait, it's Dwars Door Vlaanderen. But yeah, same story. Big points for the Comrades, but probably not as big as they would've liked. Nice win for Powless and the Bonkers though.

Finally in Paris-Camembert an undrafted Lander Loockx won, so no cheese for our managers. The Comrades had some good points with Barré to ease their pain.

For the rankings, we have (somewhat unexpected?) a new leader! The L won the block and overtake the very low scoring Pacifiers. Only 37 points between them though.

The Comrades take the final podium spot after a very nice comeback in the last two blocks. Depthwise they're looking really good for the upcoming races. The Mariners drop to 4th, with the lack of leadership really starting to show. The Hornets are 5th after a very bad block, awaiting the return of their lord and savior Saint Tadej.

The Inspectors are next, with mostly Hofstetter keeping them alive for now. The Fearless had a terrible block and need to watch out for the teams behind them, as the Racoons have climbed up the rankings quite a bit.

The Turuls also had a good round and climb to 9th place. The Ice Tulips continue to score well with their default team and take the final top 10 spot. The Bonkers had a big win and just miss out on that top 10 for now.

The GTP's AI is definitely improving and they leave the last place behind. The Spokes are really suffering at the moment, but they still manage to keep the Cobblers behind them.

BLOCK 7l'Enfer du Nord
9/04/2025ScheldeprijsCT+
13/04/2025Paris - RoubaixM
16/04/2025Ronde Van LimburgCT1
18/04/2025Brabantse PijlCT+

On to block 7 already! We start with the unofficial sprinters world championship, the Scheldeprijs. Then we have our 3rd monument, Paris-Roubaix. The Ronde van Limburg moved on the calendar so it makes it debut in the spring classics game. Finally the Brabantse Pijl starts the transition from cobbles to hills.

Lots of points to earn, but which riders to use? I need your startlist by wednesday morning 10h00.

Nys winning Indurain and then 4th, 6th, 7th and 8th in De Ronde should make Block 6 another good one for us. The Degenkolb injury is a small blow for Roubaix and leaves us with only 7 starters for the upcoming block, but I'm hoping for another decent outing from the cobbles quartet and I think Moschetti has a decent shot at a good result in the Scheldeprijs given his recent form. Less sure about Demare in Roubaix and Strong at the Brabantse Pijl, but we'll see.

STRONG Corbin
GANNA Filippo
