A bit disappointed by the Pacifiers' result, expected a 1-8 tbh Pfft
Seriously, kudos. Getting a 1-3 must feel pretty special. To me, it feels nasty, in particular because I had no chance of getting VdP and Magnier Pfft

For my team, another ugly zero-pointer. Mozzato apparently not Arkéa's team leader, and Bittner crashed. Let's just move on.

Great race in Italy by Pidcock - sadly only enough for 2nd, given that organizers still allow (Poga)Cars to participate in the competition ^^
Adria with a Top 10 is good, although I was hoping for a Top 5 for very long, but he just completely imploded in the end. At least finally some points after Samyn and Laigueglia were just awkward.

Monseré was OK-ish, but no more. Fretin is still running after a podium finish, Bittner just wasn't competitive this weekend, and Mozzato has been disappointing in every single race.
I was definitely happier with the draft outcome than I am with the scoring so far ^^ Looks like I'm not really made for this game Pfft

Block 2 results

Le Samyn was a triumph for the Pacifiers with a full podium, lead by van der Poel showing he's more than ready for the classics. In Laigueglia there was another win for Ayuso and the Inspectors. Will he get any more chances though? Then on to the main event, Strade Bianche. Another big name showed he was ready for the biggest races, as even a big crash could not stop Pogacar from winning. Finally a miscalculation led to a breakaway win in the GP Monseré.

The game high 210 points from Le Samyn bring the Pacifiers to the lead of the rankings. The Hornets did not score enough with riders not named Tadej and have to settle for second place right now. Will the race be decided between van der Poel and Pogacar or will someone else step up?

The final podium spot goes to the Inspectors, with Ayuso and Hofstetter still being great mid-draft point scorers. The Mariners had a horrible round and drop back to 4th. The Fearless are next thanks to Pidcock with a good Strade. Then there's a small gap to the L, who had a much better second block with Wellens as their main scorer.

The Cobblers are the last team in the upper half, no big results yet but just some solid scoring. The Turuls and Spokes are next, both with a great team effort in Strade. Then there's big gap to the Ice Tulips and the Bonkers, who had to fall back to their default team for missing the deadline.

The Comrades did not have a lot of starters this block and it shows. The same goes for the Racoons, who are the worst scoring team in this round. Still, everyone is beating the AI for now, as the GTP's remain in last place

Philipsen keeps the lead in the rider ranking, but Ayuso, Magnier and even Pogacar are coming close already.

Horrible block for us between the DNS and DNF's. Mohoric really proving to be a really bad pick so far, but Laporte isn't even showing up for races. Kwiat crashing is unfortunate of course, but yeah, there goes our lead.

I'll post the Block 3 preview tomorrow.

Top 5 in both blocks so far despite quite some zero-/low-pointers, we'll take that. Having 2 injured riders already with Van Hemelen and Brenner isn't great, but at least it's not team leaders like Laporte.

Block 3 should give some headaches again for who to leave out, but I still prefer that to not having any choice ^^

Congrats to the Pacifiers, monster race in Samyn and deservedly taking the lead.

We tried.... Strade was a decent team result for us but otherwise a relatively disappointing group of races

After the dust has settled in Italy, we give some chances to the sprinters in Block 3. Although it needs to be said, some profiles look a lot harder then they did in the past. The most points go to the double header next wednesday in Nokere and Torino. After that there's Denain and the Bredene Koksijde Classic.

Startlist are incomplete for now, but there's still a week left. Please send in your teams by next wednesday 19/03 at 10h00.

Thank you for the update, Ollfardh!

Lapeira fooled me for the second block in a row, damn him! Vermeersch did quite well in Strade, didn't imagine he'd finish in the scoring positions even. If if counted correctly I missed 36 points because of that. Not as bad as Kooij last week, but maybe I should start selecting riders that actually go to races from here on Pfft

At first I was heartbroken that I left Moschetti out of my lineup for the last block when I saw he won Criquielion, but then I noticed the race isn't on our schedule

Anyway, horrible run for us so far. Maybe Van Uden, Moschetti and Demare can do something for us in this one, but I'm not expecting much.

VAN UDEN Casper
DEMARE Arnaud
MOSCHETTI Matteo
STRONG Corbin
ACKERMANN Pascal
VAN DE PAAR Jarne
