The desperate effort we require clearly wasn't there for us. Tadej tried, but we needed a podium finish and didn't get it. The rest of the the riders weren't there to help him out either.

We did a great job on stage 2, but apart from that this is another race that goes down as a failure. Geoghegan Hart and Habtemichael were terrible in the mountains when it counted and we had no presence in the breakaways either.

Was nice to see Rajovic get a long awaited win for the team in Suisse. Shame that Katrasnik couldn't get something more substantial after multiple late attack attempts. Hopefully he can get something more in Riga.

I've told the riders that this could be the last Tour de France they get to ride in a while, so make it count! Dusan has had next to no consistency this season, but he is coming off his best result in Switzerland so the form should be there. Amazing TdF team, really! The climbing depth is brilliant. Really like Pogacar's chances too, eventhough both PHL and Kudus have been announced. Most certainly a strong podium contender, and who knows, can he even give PHL and Kudus problems? |
