We got it right Got very worried when Groenewegen launched, but it was just enough. Super happy with that win, they don’t come easy in sprints. Really hope we can do the same on the final stage to claim the points jersey and success in this race. |

Why bother going into S1 breakaway, we only have the rider who won it from the breakaway last year.

It looks like van der Kooij is struggling so far. Good to see Groenewegen taking the win. Congrats, ember!

Cinema on those stages with plenty of drama. Seeing the large group of sprinters and Dombo get a large gap was raising my heartrate a bit too much
Now time for the mountain stage and hopefully a dominant Evonik team? Really curious how this will work with Lopez as #2 on a race that suits him far better than liechtenstein.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Very poor sprinting from Kuli. Guess we can't always get that overperformance. All eyes on Stage 3 now.
Congrats to the winners and thanks for the reports!

Another podium is very nice from AKA. Still in competition for the points hersey on the final day now, though it will be difficult to leap ahead without another podium at least, given the points structure.
Thanks for the exciting reports!

Massive, massive result for Evonik. Big congratulations, knockout! Your superstars definitely got that one right, doing even better than hoped for, I assume.
A good stage for us as well in the sense of AHJ being allowed to ride for GC and take the youth classification lead. Should be secured if nothing weird happens on the final stage.
Thank you for the report, liefwarrior! I like them a lot and how you describe the race development and action! |

Thanks! The hope was that lopez drags a group of 6-7 riders across the KoM, secures that jersey and holds on to a top 10 GC while Lecuisinier wins the race. The race turned out completely different and i was super scared throughout the report but it somehow worked even better

Well there's bad results and then there's whatever Champoussin did in this stage.
What a result for Evonik though. Congrats knockout!

It wasn't to be for Olivier in the end but I cannot blame him for trying! Great work from the team to get him into position for the final climb. Can't be too unhappy with 6th and the best of the PCT.
Huge congrats to knockout on the double Thanks for the report!

Looking at who was ahead, definitely can't be mad about 18th and 19th on the stage here. Neither guy really showed off, but stayed in position and plugged away to score a bit. Gonna be a big group splitting GC points here.
Congrats to Evonik on utter domination!
