I'm well aware that we have a reporter shortage, and I'm part of the problem, having abandoned reporting lately. Two little kids just take a lot of time and energy, and sadly I often just don't have enough time at once to do a report. I'll happily continue doing the ranking updates for now, and maybe take a classic every now or then, but sadly I don't feel like taking on a longer stage race. Sorry for the lack of support.
I can fully support what kb said - reporting is a great way to get to know teams and game mechanics a lot better. So if you're motivated, I can only recommend helping out with reporting!
Otherwise, I guess we'll just have to switch to ICL-style for some races, i.e. just posting the results, maybe 2-3 pics per stage. I wouldn't like that, as reports are one of my absolutely favourite parts of MG, but if it's the only viable solution to keep things afloat, go for it.

I have also been slacking on the reports, but had a few things to sort out in my personal life with a minor medical procedure and some other work that brought me out of balance for a good part of this season so far, should be way more straightforward for me going in to the new year in terms of reporting!
