A race which requires a unique combination of puncher and sprinter skills in order to truly succeed sees a pure puncher in Eiking as the top favourite! Immediately following him are three guys who are much better sprinters in Gueerreiro, Korosec and McCormick.
Following the Top 4 guys are another couple of pure punchers in Bystrom and Morin, who are rated higher by our algorithm than the likes of stronger punchy sprinters - Grosser, Houle, et al.

Let's go Houle!

15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Let's see how we go with two of the top 10 favourites, one pure puncheur and one punchy sprinter. Means we have different cards to play, but they could also get in each other's way - hope for the best.

With Wackermann, Pacher, Lafay and, who knows, Hofstetter, we have a variety of options. A top 5 and some depth should be the goal here.

Nikiema and Smit should love this kind of terrain. Looking for a top 5 from one of them.
We have also brought Granigan and Mundle in case the race turns out to be easier than expected.
Good luck to everyone racing.

Similar to everyone else here did not have a clue which type of rider was best so just threw all the hilly sprinters at it in the hope one of them goes well |

Feels like Cervelo's crew is the best on paper, should be a cracking race!

Ouch, that one hurts. Worst result of the year so far.
Thanks for the report nonetheless!

Cool little race Korosec getting some consolation from Catalunya where he really should have had two top 3 results but had bad position. congrats
From a cervelo point of view more then happy with the result 3 top 15's and 28 points. If we want to climb the standings we have to start turning these into higher placings or have a lucky run but since the last rankings update we've gone up 0.6 pprd so we are making progress at least.
Mccormick one of the surprises of the year for me so far up to 49pts on the season while Grosser gaining some points means we are down to 2 riders yet to score points this season |

Well, KHJ didn't win, but 2nd is also good - he's been solid so far this season. And looks like the depth pays off - KHJ 2nd, Robov 10th, Bernard 16th and CFH 23rd
Thanks for the report and congrats to the winner

It's been a rough month, so it's nice to see things go our way (without it being any big overperformance from Nikiema IMO)
Korosec seems like the right winner. Congrats to the others in top 5 as well.

Another decent, if unspectacular performance from the lads. Running out of words to describe these kind of showings
Congrats as always to the winner and cheers for the nice report.
