If Eiking does go, I honestly think this squad would still be a promotion contender with Arensman back. Grabbing a couple of low wage point scorers, or even a little bit of training and I think you should be a shoe in to promote next season.

Having to get rid of Eiking is really rough to see. He's your guy, and I think of him instantly when I think of your team. I guess on your budget it's either him or literally everyone else though. I'm sorry it came to this.

Yeah, Eiking has been my guy from day 1.
So it honestly hurts, a lot.
But we have to look forward, and a busy off season seems to be ahead of us.
Super busy the 24th and 25th though, so im semi hoping for a later start date to the off season.

Lunke and Arensman are beasts in the CT division.
I will follow you closely in the stage races, and wish you the best of luck in the season ahead |

Overall a great squad! A shame indeed that Eiking couldn't stay, but I think you're going to gaining lots of great points in the stage races.
Van Moer is a beast as well, have to imagine we'll see him in action a lot!

You'll be active on every terrain, and that with many Norwegians in the squad (as well as five more Scandinavians on loan). Very nice squad. Losing eiking will of course have hurt at least a little, but if you can promote in his honour, it'll hurt less in some months

End of an era, definitely. But in particular after last year's training, not surprising that Eiking had to be cut
I think the SR department should be really strong this year. Last year, Lunke always faced Chiarello and Berhane, or at least one of them; with Lunke and Arensman, you now have two cool riders who can cover more races. Obviously there's no way past Jorgenson who could easily be the division's #1 this year, but your stage racers should be pretty successful, too.
Van Moer already was strong last year, and I guess you've learnt quite some important points about the current game engine, so I'm confident you'll find ways to improve his overall scoring And with Knotten, you still have a great backup should van Moer fail (or not race).
However, not overly confident yet in the other departments. The hills have obviously lost some top-end quality (although Eiking wasn't fantastic anymore with the current engine), but I could imagine Conti pulling off some nice surprises.
And then you have one rider each for cobbles and sprints, yet not the top guns. In particular having just one sprinter could bite you a bit, as it means less chances of a random great result.
But we'll see, fingers crossed you'll get more luck than last year, and get back up to PCT

Definitely a big change with Eiking going, but this squad has the firepower to be active everywhere and I think the promotion hunt should be much smoother this time around

I'll obviously be cheering for Lunke after he helped Tryg to promotion back in CT20; alongside Arensman you have an incredibly formidable stage racing department. I'm a fan of Brent van Moer as well, if my efforts to pry him from you hands throughout transfers didn't make that clear enough already. Hvideberg is an exciting prospect for the pavés as well. There is a a gaping hole in the hills, as it will be a tough asking for Koretzky to cover for Eiking, but he, alongside Barbier, should provide that little bit of extra scoring necessary to turn this team into a promotion contender. Best of luck!
