A lot of boost to the stage racing, the sprinting and the TT department this transfers. The team should be in much better shape to stay up this time than the last PT party. Looking forward to how they go in the races

I like those moves. Possibly slightly improving while getting younger on some key positions is a good look.

Thanks for the comments, we are indeed happy with rejuvenating our roster a bit, and we should be in a better shape to try and survive in PT this time. Decided to go for a no-cobbles approach and 'actually sending a leader to GT's instead of 79-mtn Munoz' this time, let's find out how it goes. And Laurens, sorry not sorry about Malacarne But I'm sure enough Brazilians will find their way to your team in the coming years as well, as it's where they belong as well
So, this is it for us, our final roster after the incoming and outgoing transfers. The 23 riders below will ride in our colours this season.

It hurts to see Vlatos in another team, but it’s a very likeable setup you have managed to create.

Like the look of this team and it's chances to stay up in PT. You already know my admiration for the likes of Zmorka, Higuita, Sutterlin, et al. You've added a couple to that list this time as well

Thank you for the nice comments. I'll make sure Vlatos and Erdenebat have a great time at us And as you mention Higuita...
The Colombian has been training hard this off-season. We invested in some uphill trainings camps in the, and it paid off. Higuita improves both his climbing and puncheur abilities, as seen in the table below. He's no Areruya (yet), need two more seasons at least for that
Nat. | Name | FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | | Sergio Higuita | 69 | 78 | 79 | 65 | 76 | 78 | 79 | 60 | 66 | 75 | 73 | 64 | 62 | | Sergio Higuita | 69 | 79 | 80 | 65 | 76 | 78 | 79 | 60 | 66 | 75 | 73 | 64 | 62 |

Oh my Higuita looks brilliant! A bunch of these big MO/HI guys by now, but with the power of physical stats I think Higuita could have a top season!

Last year jandal demanded I'd do some mtn training as well for Higuita, so I could only listen I do indeed hope he can keep up more or less with his PCT performances. Won't be easy, but hopefully his stam/res in addition to his now improved mt/hill is able to to that indeed. Thanks for the confidence in staying up, but we'll see about that in ten months. And I'm sorry to tell, ko, but I don't think I'm done training Higuita yet. Got exactly three more years to bring him to 84/81 and make sure there is a Herklotz replacement in the DB

He hasn't said it out loud yet, but we can imagine jersey maker Ezeefreak to start hating our team slowly but surely. We asked him to make ten national champion jerseys, and we are happy he did. Today we'll announce the five road champion jerseys, which should be most visible throughout the year.
Luis Enrique Lopez Nolasco
The Hondurese rider will shine in his national jersey for the third time in a row, and will wear it both during normal races and time trials. Time for a new Honduras rider to step up soon and give him some competition in the national championships.
Robinson Steven Ruiz
Robinson Steven has had at least one competitor in the nc's for the last four years. Not just any competitior, but the legendary Alain Quispe. We're glad to say Robinson Steven was able to win every one of those battles nonetheless, as he wears the Peruvian road and time trial nc jersey for the fourth year in a row.
Gabriel Marin
Our new sprinter addition Gabriel Marin won the road championship when racing for Manada - Coyote, and thus will wear the Costa Rican jersey for us this season. We would love it if he brings the jersey across the finish line first somewhere, preferably in a GT.
Fatiu Abolaji
The Nigerian talent is also the only rider in his country and has not yet worn the normal LPH or OXF jersey anywhere either. There was talk of the man leaving us during the transfer season, but in the end he stayed at us, something we can only be happy about.
Orluis Aular
The most contested national champion on the road for us was probably Aular, who won the Venezuelan mountainous championship. With the coming of Eastman, Aular got demoted to our second GC leader. Nevertheless, we still love him as our regional climber, and hope he shines bright in the jersey in multiple GT's.

Onto the time trial champions! Five riders of us will wear the national jersey in time trials this season (in addition to the double champions mentioned earlier), two of them joined us during transfer season.
Marlen Zmorka
Marlen winning the Ukrainian championship was not a surprise. He'll be looking to add several more titles to his name in the coming years.
Jasha Sütterlin
In the penultimate championship at his prime, Jasha delivered again. He did lose German buddies Zepuntke and Hollmann in the last weeks, but he's very motivated to give it another go in PT, and hopefully surviving this time.
Victor Alejandro Ocampo
Finally! After three years spent on loan at Polestar, Indosat and Sony, V.A. Ocampo comes home. His first races in our colours, and immediately shining in that Colombian jersey he won rather easily after Bernal's manager didn't allow his riders to be in national championships in order to prepare for the 2024 season in a better way.
Bilguunjargal Erdenebat
Bilguunjargal's career at Spark has ended with a win in the Mongolian time trial championship, and we're certain he's a strong new piece for our time trial heavy team. Bilguunjargal already let us know he is looking forward to his first PT season at the maximum of his capacities.
Panagiotis Vlatos
Vlatos on the other hand has experienced many PT years at the maximum of his capacities. Those capacities have gotten worse with time, but he should still prove to be a decent asset for our team as well.

That's why keeping Pira was so important to us, the type of rider to never win anything!
Leader planning: Mountain men Time to share some leader planning. First, we bring you the two GC riders. Eastman basically looking for GC's with (T)TT's, Aular in it for a lower scoring season with 2 GT's, Liechtenstein and some domestique roles.
Ryan Eastman 07-Jan | 09-Jan | Tour of Tasmania | PT | 01-Feb | 08-Feb | Volta a Portugal | PTHC | 13-Feb | 20-Feb | Paris - Nice | PT | 03-Apr | 23-Apr | Giro d'Italia | GT | 12-Jun | 18-Jun | Criterium du Dauphine Libere | PTHC |
Orluis Aular 13-Feb | | Classique du Grand-Duché | PT | 20-Apr | | GP Liechtenstein | PT | 11-May | 31-May | Vuelta a Espana | GT | 12-Jun | 18-Jun | Criterium du Dauphine Libere | PTHC | 03-Jul | 23-Jul | Tour de France | GT |

Well, I hate that Eastman schedule
But to be fair, it would've looked pretty similar if I had bought him, just swapping Tasmania and Dauhpiné for Ukraine and Suisse... Not looking forward to meet him again, definitely not Which probably means you did indeed pick the right races for him GC podium possible in the Giro? Another Eastman vs. McNulty fight there? Given both teams' TTT power and GC leader skills, I wouldn't be surprised...
Facing Aular won't be much more fun, though. Will still be interesting to see how my climbers fare against him in the GTs, in particular wondering how much time loss in the mountains they can make up for in the TT(s). He should definitely be a solid Top 10 contender both in TdF and Vuelta.
