Hello, everyone. While I love the Daily MG I was looking for someone else also to fill the time in between. I couldnt find something that suited my likings so I thought about making my own little Cycling management game.
And today i wanna present you the result: Re:
Pro Cycling Management Game
Why this weird name?
Because I am super creative and it hints a bit what this is about. Re:
Pro (the : just because ist much cooler with ) suggest like it hast o do with the past and Repro sounds like Retro, doesnt it?
With that we come to some details about the game:
Simulation Details
• Game: Pro Cycling Manager 2024
• Simulation Type: Quick Simulation
• Coverage: Only a short preview and result writeup will be presented.
• Database: Initial DB is a modified 1996 DB.
• Platform: All activities will take place on this Discord.
• Season Length: We're trying to start a new season every 6 months. 2 Months for the whole Off-Season tasks and 4 for the season itself.
Activities for Managers
• Contract Renewals
• Drafting New Talents
• Signing Free Agents
• Trading/Dealing Riders and Draft Picks
• Race Planning: Selecting and sending riders to races.
• Development: Selecting leveling paths for not maxed riders and investing in training for maxed riders.
• Race Discussions: Participate in race discussion threads.

Like you can see there are quite some similarities with our beloved Daily MG but with some tweaks and twists here and there. Overall this is supposed tob e more of a side hustle and goal is that the busy season takes place in between the Daily Stuff.

Short Answer: No.
Long Answer: Still no Basically because I already invested shit tons of work to set up the discord and channels but more importantly Discord has Bot's and Apss to make the live for Background work and also user more easy. And I plan on using Bots for example Free Agency/Rider signings will be done with Bot's.
Guess I'll give it a try - but will definitely need some help with the Discord stuff. Never saw the utility of using it, I'm just too old for these things I guess
This seems fun and discord is fine for me, but I just don't have a ton of internet access atm or time to pick up a new game. That may change soon but not sure I can commit to start immediately.
