Relegated after our first season in the PCT and back into the CT division. With our star talent Carlos Rodriguez growing in talent we have high hopes over the coming years. We are in a rebuild in some cases at the moment but our main riders will stay the same as we have a good base.
The CT division promises to be a challenge as it is every season and we are looking forward to some great competition and getting back into the PCT over the coming years.
We look forward to getting started and sharing the progress of the team throughout the season!

Welcome to the announcement of our jersey for the 2024 season. We have lost a couple of sponsors but gained the backing of new ones. SparkNZ is our main sponsor and pure naming rights sponsor. We have also been backed now by the New Zealand Government and Avanti bikes. POC remains our only sponsor outside of New Zealand. We are very excited to see how this jersey looks in the peloton of the CT division this year! We hope you like the new jersey as much as we do!

Tough season in PCT with Bobridge not scoring enough and the big investment in Carlos. Anyway, good times ahead
Both Altanzul and Edmondson had a long term with your team before coming over to Crabbe. They were very valuable this season, thanks again for that
All the best in the transfer season!

Yeh tough season for sure!
Wishing Edmondson and Altanzul were back with us as they would have done better then our "big signings" would have
Thanks mate! Hoping for a good transfer season to get us back on track!

There's a lot of interesting riders to keep in the team, and a bunch of oldies that might not be suited for renewals. It will be super hard to get rid of some of them, but it might come as a no-brainer seeing the fees.
Erdenebat, Perera, Schleck, Bevin and a bunch of talents is a very solid core I think.

After you're tough last season I wish you well back in CT. And a nice jersey with a unique colour scheme!

I really love the kit, it’ll be unique in the CT peloton. Also looks like a season of transition for you, it’ll be interesting to see which direction you go in transfers e.g. invest heavily in leaders over and above what you’re bringing down from PCT, or fill out the roster that already looks to have a solid core, or go for more youths. Good luck and looking forward to competing with you again!

Hope you guys can bounce back after a tough season last year. It looks like you should have a decent core of riders to build around, hopefully you can snag a couple of leader types to fill out the squad. Hopefully you can find a way to keep Rodriguez around too.

Thanks for the feedback guys! First kit I have made myself in years and really happy with the outcome. And our transfers we have some ideas in mind and really want to give it a good shot and start assembling a strong team!
We have finalised our squad following renewals and while we had to make some huge cuts with our new salary cap, we were able to keep some big names that should help us get ahead this season and potentially promote back into the PCT.
There are a couple of obvious cuts. We had to say goodbye to Madrazo and Bobridge because of the amount of salary they were asking for was too much for the squad to handle. We also said goodbye to Howard and Perera as we feel we can find a new direction to go and potentially even invest in our own home grown sprinter, Cameron Scott. Bevin was also let go due to an overlook on the managers part, however we are going to aim to revisit him in the transfer period. We also cleared out some of our young riders who we feel aren't going to be helpful to us in the future.
So without any more delay, here is the squad post renewals

As we draw near to the transfer period it is now about creating plans A-Z and hope that our best possible scenario plays out. We will be focusing on New Zealand talent and assembling a majority Kiwi team. We are going to stick to some very specific criteria that our new main sponsors have laid out for us to achieve over the next few seasons and this will be outlined in a post shortly.
Thanks for reading and for the feedback!

Good to see our loanees from last year Ramirez and Duyvesteyn looking stronger after their year with us. Schleck as the MO leader is an exciting thought as well!

The age profile of the squad is really good. Now it only comes down to making the right moves to make all the pieces fit together

Sad to see you going back down, but the young core is indeed good. As always the challenge will be finding the leaders to burst through the glass ceiling and make promotion stick.

Probably need a few pieces to really get the squad promotion ready and if you can do that while keeping Carlos then you're in a good place! But if you ever need to find a home for him then you know where to find me
Good luck in these transfers! As a Kiwi myself, I do feel a certain affinity for your team.

Used redordead's idea for this. Thanks!
It's clear out time. This is our availability list moving into transfers this season. Rodriguez is safe. I am happy to liste to offers on others and then a lot of them are going to be leaving. Excited to get into this transfers!

Think those are the right moves, even though it's some very useful riders on the market. You certainly seem like a man with a plan with the sweet cash you should be getting in! Rodriguez is a diamond and not one with a wage you can't build around to head back up to the PCT. Looking forward to seeing it, and of course I'm sure there's going to be lots for us to talk about as always.
