We changed the team up quite a bit this season and went away from the cobbles as mentioned earlier. That doesn't mean we aren't ambitious this time around. The team is ready to perform and have a better season! In the spoiler you can find individual breakdowns of all the cyclists.

Hi everyone!
This will be the Team HQ for my Babymetal team!
I wanted to start this HQ months ago, but an unforseen medical situation emerged which had an impact on the last 8-12 months or so! So my activity here as been lower than I wanted.
In the following weeks I will be following up on all the races and hype I missed for this season and will try to report on important moments from this season for the team!
For now I hope you all enjoy the remainder of the season. If there is any feedback for this page or anything else, be sure to send me a pm! |

Overall is nice to see you here now. Even when your first season wasnt such a highlight yet you had a few and after all its not a sprint, it's a marathon!
I cant wait to see your awesome shirt more in front of fields next years (of course slightly behind my team  )

The Fox God stays in the peloton in the upcoming season!
After deliberation with our sponsors we are proud to announce that Babymetal Cycling will continue to exist after a season with alot of downs like our low overall ranking, but also some great ups like the victory in Tour of America!
The sponsors however asked for some more communication and goals towards the new season. They want their investment to have a meaningful pay-off towards both their business as the development of cycling in Japan.
With that in mind we will be fine-tuning our team's focus a little more. Even though Babymetal is already well-known in these areas, the sponsors want to capture each metal lover from the BeNeLux, to Germany and Poland. We cannot forget the many fans in North-America either and will try to get more recognition in these areas as well.
From aiming to being in breakaways and showing ourselves that way we will be going more towards stage wins (I admit, I would prefer those to be from a cheeky breakaway every now and again) and side classifications.
For this we will be trying to recruit more Northern-European and Asian cyclists. Japanese cyclists especially will be supported in their further development and we hope to see them spread their wings in higher and higher quality races and/or teams.
To avoid a classics disaster like last season we will be moving away the cobbles a bit (this hurts me as an admirer of Roubaix) but we will be doing this to safeguard the future of our team. One day one of our Japanese cyclists will win a big classic! But as Pokémon always taught us: "There's a time and place for everything, but not now!"

Very rare a new CT team hits it out of the park first time - I definitely didn't! Looking forward to seeing you put last year's lessons into practice Verschaeve is a great young rider to have and hopefully one you can keep for a long time and become a staple for you.
And more importantly hope that you are recovering well from your RL medical situation and feeling better

Considering your focus regions I probably won't be able to help you much in transfers, but I certainly appreciate the fact that you have a rather clear direction in how you want to structure your team

The team roster has (preliminary) been updated now that transfers are closing!
During this season we will also transition towards the modern Babymetal logo and feel (mainly the logo). Once the planners are completely known more info will follow here! |

Nice rider per rider presentation, the sponsor will surely be happy with 7 Japanese riders signed! Think you made a little mistake copy-pasting on the Yamaguchi text
You do have two nice new leaders in Petelin and Raileanu, they can work together or apart in mountainous race, and I can see the latter doing quite well in C2 puncheur races as well actually!
