Great to see Aregger preparing the road for Reinhardt on day 1 - two Jura alumni dominating the race early on Smile
Guardini winning S2 feels rather random, but given a rather weak sprinter field some surprises are always on the table.

And Chiarello... Beast! I honestly didn't see him winning the hilly stage, with the final uphill being short and sharp - but somehow he got the better of the puncheurs and should have the GC in the bag already - barring any rider having their "Hoem moment" tomorrow. By the way, Hoem still is in contention, so who knows...

Thanks for the reports so far, and congrats to the stage winners Smile

Is there a reason the KOM standings are getting left out of the results? C'mon, it's all I got going for me at the moment!

Sorry I was copy-pasting the results section from Stage 1 for the format and missed putting the KOM table in. Updated for all now.

Imladrik
Yes! I think it's Mikel's first stage win for us. Great result obviously, with the 2nd GC.
I'd have hope for a 2nd top 10, but 12 for Rochas is good enough, with Tatarinov good effort. With 4th in the other classifications and 2nd in the teams, that's a satisfying points all for a four stages race. It kinds of makes up for our poor showing in C1.

Thanks for the reports, congrats to Laurens who destroys the division

Garby, happy with that performance, sevuring us a podium after all.

Congrats to the unbeatable Chiarello, and also to Bordeaux for an amzing performance on the last stage!

Thank you very much for the reports! Smile

Congrats to Laurens for once again dominating a C2 stage race and also to Imladrik for his teams great performance on stage 4!

Our high hopes (and expectations) for the race weren't totally matched, but 6th in the GC by Gall means we've achieved our first ever season goal, we got the stage podium we hoped for by Teuns and also won our first ever U25 jersey with Gall. 3rd in the team ranking is also a personal best, but yet it feels like we missed some opportunities ... Damn those ambitions lurking within (and given the totally messed up C1 races this month we could have well done with some more points, though we still should get a nice amount out of this race).

Congrats Imladrik with Iturria's performance Smile

Ofcourse happy with another GC win. That brings us in a comfortable position regarding the promotion spots. Still long way to go though Smile

Thanks Abhi for the reports, much appreciated!

Chiarello best (again)!

Awful from O'Connor, but seeing as we rolled the breakaway dice throughout the race i'm not surprised. Marte showing off as a neo-pro even if the KoM was always doomed in such a race. Still it was overall a better race, even if again it delivers almost no points.

So the "2023 Hoem" is called Iturria Grin
Congrats to Bordeaux on a fantastic stage win, plus 2nd place in the GC! Iirc it's the first really big stage race result for you, well done!
Congrats - once again - to Crabbe and Chiarello on the GC win - plus KoM, plus points, domination! If I'm not wrong, he has spent exactly half of his RDs now, and should now be one of the top contenders for the individual CT title...
Surprised to see Aru in the Top 5 to be honest - which must make the outcome even more bitter for Podium Ambition, who once again were completely screwed over by the engine... Hoping for a great second half of the year for you then!

Thanks for the entertaining reports Smile

I know I'm reacting to this late, but WOW!! I did not expect that. This was Reinhardt's first race of the season, and what a start he had. Its been a inconsistent start to Adidas' inaugural season, but I have high hopes for my former Jura sprint team Wink

2nd in KOM, 2nd in Points, 2x 2nd on the stage, 1x 7th on the stage. We did badly in the GC, but I think overall we can be happy with this tour.
Degenkolb is really surprising me so far.

Also Chiarello is a beast!
