With our roster nearly full enough, we still have a little money left. So we are looking for great riders (if possible from the coutries listed above) that fulfill the following criteria:
- salary not higher than 150k
- transfer fee not higher than 300k
We have good sprinters already so mainly looking for a GC guy or a real good puncheur to give me some good results in 1 stages/1 day races.
Also listening to loan-in offers. Can pay a fee if needed, but you would need to take the wage.

You've assembled a well balanced team, without neglecting the local focus. Good job!
All the best for the coming season.

Thank you! I was really trying to have as many Austrians or at least german speaking riders as possible. Ended up with 11, which is a really good number I suppose
Overall I think our team is well balanced and can be quite competitive given our little budget and the small wage cap.
Also very happy about Kabas and Laurance being good talents with a lot of upside. Both are potential 5, 1.0 XP and already have quite a good attribute base.
Would have wished for a better GC guy, as my good climbers lack TT skills. But for the first year I think we did fine during transfers.

Yeah, I think the GC and TT departments have more to be desired. Still, your roster is good starting point and you have 2 Pot 5 rookies you can develop this season

Snatching Laurance ahead of all the competition was a good move, and if you want, in the future, I'll wage that some French teams might want to spend good money on him
Good roster for your home race at least, with the start of a TTT core (and I know it was hard this year), and of course, more competition on the hills!
Like you I went with the route of one cobbler last season, a route I left this year. We'll see which decision was the best.
See you soon on the roads!

Hum... Mixed feelings about that team to be honest. The main stats look great, that's for sure - especially getting Berhane for 120k seems like a good deal, despite subpar backup stats. Koep and Heymes are two good domestiques, although a bit old.
In the puncheurs department, Lienhard and Pernsteiner obviously catch my attention, both being former Jura/Centovalli riders. The former actually has a nice statline - but his performance has just been poor these last two years, hopefully the game version change will "fix" him to actually do something useful. Pernsteiner was a great domestique in his maxed days, and he should still have one strong season in him. Grossschartner however should clearly be your strongest rider there, also handling some longer uphills well. Rabitsch has that sneaky prologue stat, let's see if he can use it somewhere - unfortunately Jelajah, the tailor-made race for such a skillset, got cancelled...
Taubel has always had some good races in CT, and especially with a (very) weak cobbles field this year, he should be a good scorer. Despite not having any support at all.
No clue what to expect from your sprinters. I'd guess Boudat should be by far your biggest scorer in that department, but I don't know how the new version handles Degenkolb's bad backups. His acceleration has suffered a lot, and so have his energy stats - but his topspeed obviously is still top-notch for CT. Personally, I wouldn't put a lot of faith in him, though. Selig should be a good leadout (although that can be bad for the main sprinter), and Boudat really is a great rider to have. I know it, because it's former rider #3 in your roster
Malori as the lone TT-wolf is way past his prime as well - he should net you some minor points here or there, but I think he's just lacking the backups now to make up for his main stat that might be 1-2 too low. In terms of talents, I can understand your enthusiasm - I'm afraid I don't fully share it. Kabas should indeed grow into a good Mo/Hi rider for one-day races; stage races won't be his main focus with that measly recovery stat. And Laurance will become one of the strongest one-dimensional puncheurs - but I don't like one-dimensional riders that much anymore If you plan him well, he'll surely find races to do well in, but at least with the more recent game versions, puncheurs with 70+ Mo are clearly the stronger overall riders. At least he'll have a great acceleration - but it obviously all depends on how you'll train him
In terms of main stats, I think you did a pretty good job. However, your roster is really, really old overall, which means that you'll likely need at least a partial rebuild already after year 1. But for now, let's see what year 1 brings - I guess the pieces are there to have some fun, but some of them might be a little shaky
PS: Sorry for that lengthy, lengthy post, but I was just triggered by seeing three former riders in your roster

Feels like this team could get very much amongst the promotion conversation, which would be great to them use a PCT budget to do an almost total rebuild. If it doesn't promote, the older nature could put you into a sticky position for a year or two more to work the squad back to a contender.
Either way, it's gonna be really interesting to watch how the season plays out.

100% agree there. Prior to Transfers I though about going for a more "talent" aproach, but then I realized that pretty much every single Austrian rider available in the game is very old. Every german speaking talent (Uhlig for example) turned out to be much too expensive for my budget and salary cap. So I thought for year #1 I don't care much for age and just try to get as many competitive guys as possible. After year 1 I will have much more knowledge about the MAN-Game, I will have a lot more knowledge of what to expect and maybe also go for higher goals and therefore more money to u se in a rebuild of the roster.
PS: I like lengthy in-depth analysis

Got a second guy that is capable of doing help on the cobbles today via draft

I didn't know you got Berhane, he should be fantastic in CT
Lienhard could do some damage if he doesn't get blocked by the other puncheurs. I love Boudat and Degenkolb can surely still do some damage. Taubel could bring in some decent points if the cobble races aren't that highly contested. One or two TTers would make this squad perfect, but can't have everything I guess
This looks like a promotion contender

Nice experienced team you put together there. It should give me and others a lot of stuff to worry about in the next season. So lets hope for you it works out this year because next year already a new build is needed to be made. Good Luck!

I look at Berhane and am forcibly reminded of Thibaut Pinot's dominant performances in the CT mountains, although there isn't the same TTT squad to back him up. I haven't investigated the 2.2 calendar this year, so I'm not sure how what impact that will have on his overall output. The strength of your German-speaking leadership in Großschartner, Taubel and Degenkolb - assisted by Boudat - means that I wouldn't be surprised to see you rebuilding the team for the ProContinental level next season.

Haha thanks for the kind words!
I hope that Berhane will get me some points for sure! Old man is still one of the best in the mountains and fortunately also has a lot of stamina left. Negative part is his TT skill, but if that would have been better, then he wouldn't be in the CT most likely.

Bro, this is your first season right??? I am super impressed by the strength of your squad (and jealous!!)
We had some nice transfer battles this offseason, but man, you came out on top! You have a top squad for this level. (not to jinx, but I could see promotion contention...) |

Haha thanks, first season in ManGame but I am a PCM veteran
I really hope that my tam can be amongst the promotion contenders, as it is already quite old and built for "the now". You put together a young and very talented squad that should do very good in the future. Looking forward to some nice battles!

We weren't in the same battles during transfers but I'm definitely impressed! While others are skeptical, that Berhane 80MO is definitely foreboding as competition this season. You've definitely got the pieces to put together a great season - although I'm afraid our schedules are going to line up a lot with your strength in the mountains and hills.
That said, please feel free to join us in the TTTs!
