The Race Planner files for ProTour Teams are available. It is named according to your PTHC bands, so please check first if those are correct ! You are in the end responsible to check if the races in the planner are identical to your bands. It will be noticed by the later file, if wrong choices had been taken, but as I only use that later file in the very end, it will be time consuming to fix.
e.g. for PTHC bands 1,2,3 it is the following link. For any other combination of PTHC bands, which is several combinations in total, just change the numbers in chronological order (e.g. ..._346 or ..._256 and not ..._234).
https://pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2023/Files/2023PlannerPT_123.xlsm
You will need to fill in the ID, Rider Name and Race Day allocation yourself, using the database. These details will of course be checked once you submit the file.
Remember that if you plan to do training, a rider's OVL will increase. You can check this though in the DB. With CTRL+SHIFT+O you can calculate the OVL post training and get an updated rd number.
There no longer is a race clash button. In case you have used a rider on a clashing race, the row will colour itself red. Also the field from A2-D2 colours red if you have any clash. So you better not have any red in your planner in the end. Please don`t change the two other tabs in the file as they are only there to check the clashes. If you change them and no clash is shown afterwards, it also will show up in my later bigger file, which again leads to some time to fix it.
In case you spend more race days than the eligible race days for any rider the coloumn DY as also A3-D3 or EB will colour red to show you.
Also take care of the race restrictions. Minimum 6 riders, maximum 8 riders for all events but time trial classics which is 3 riders. In row 36 and 37 you can see the colour code for this check.
When completed upload to dropbox with the name "PT_TeamName" and PM ManGame-Admin to say it is there.
---
PCT/CT teams will receive their race planner file once all C1/C2 selection and Wildcard choices have been made during transfers. |

I'm having an issue accessing the file for my PTHC bands combo (bands 2, 4 and 5). I have tried some of the others which seem to work fine, but this one returns a "Error 404 Not Found". Any chance you could check it's uploaded correctly. Thanks!

Try again now.
I apparently have forgot 245 246 256 and uploaded them now.
Everyone should check his own bands and races more carefully now just in case I copy&saved over a wrong combination. |

Jeez, how confused I must have been. Forgot quite a few more combinations which I can`t explain myself.
All combinations are online now. Just check if the combinations also match the exact PTHC races.

It seems there's a race clash validation between Giro and Paris - Roubaix, at least in the 246 planner.

Not as easy to fix them all as most of you probably had downloaded and started them already.
The clash is obviously there, even though the file doesn`t show it apparently.
Every PT manager should know about that clash and avoid it. I will "fix" it in the bigger file, which then should help to avoid it fully in the season. But obviously helps, if no PT manager has this clash in first hand in the individual planner. |

Deleting the formulas in Column Z of 'Tabelle1' will get the file to stop incorrectly suggesting that there is a clash between Paris Roubaix and the Giro

Dauphine has a race points cost of 8, it should be 7.
I assume it's fine to just change that in "Sheet1".

Haven`t seen this post before but also just found out when doing some rd checks.
Indeed Dauphine is wrong in the PT planners.
Please fix it yourself:
Change CC2 from 8 to 7. |

14 CT, 16 PCT, 7 PT
It`s quite shocking how far off the PT teams are (again) this season.
In especially as they had the planners already far earlier than the other divisions.
In especially with the postponed deadline, I was expecting the PT teams to have it done for the actual deadline last Sunday.
Keep in mind that the deadline is tomorrow! And every team missing will definitely get a punishment in any kind of form! The punishment surely will be harder than any last minute optimization fix you can still find.

vs.
I guess that's some kind of time travel then
I can definitely understand that (major) trainings matter most in PT, but I don't think it's like another rider's training will completely change one's leader's schedule... But maybe that's just lack of PT experience speaking
Hopefully everyone gets their planners in by tomorrow! Or today, just as you want

1. I think we have had the discussion last year already but it doesnt matter when the planner is getting sent out, proper planning only starts with the DB release for some teams.
2. There is a PT Planner deadline already?

Are there really that many decisions to be made based on the DB? How many races are you actually changing for a rider based on what other teams might be bringing. And it's not like you need to know a full roster of a team for that. If you are fearing a certain rider you can easily check to see which team got him and try to figure out where he will be if you want to avoid him.
But what do I know, I've been in PT for so many seasons and never finished higher than 8. I guess I need to start waiting for the DB before doing the planning

Yes. Might only be one or two small changes for the leaders but that can snowball into lots of changes down the line.
E.g. I changed 9RDs of my Lopez planning over the weekend based on the db (one race i wanted to change and then the rest was necessary to use all his RDs nicely) which caused a big chain reaction of domestique RDs all over the place.
My top 17 riders have a combined 3 RDs left unused in my current planner so every small change can cause a lot of changes elsewhere. So definitely more than half the riders got changed because of that "small Lopez planning change".

Didn’t notice the deadline. My planner is long done. Just didn’t send it yet because I wanted to tripple check…
Will send mine tonight.
