Very nice additions, congratulations! I had an interest for McCormick last year, and a mild one this year but he definitely has a better home here.

I'm very interested to see how Bobridge will perform this year, his age clearly getting the better of him, but with his kick and time trial capacities he should still be a favourite for some of the races on the calendar. Lovely regional domestiques for him as well

I was interested in Bobridge as well but ultimately could only afford the poor man's version in Ion Izagirre (don't tell him I said that ). I guess they'll encounter each other quite often, and I fear Ion won't get the upper hand a lot

It's really impressive that you were able to get three hill riders and all of them being from Australia and New Zealand

I'm happy to have taking over Edmondson and Altanzul from you in the offseason. Good to see that you made some excellent moves like Madrazo and Rodriguez combined with local riders
Best of luck in PCT!

Quite a team you've put together there. The old guys should definitely score enough points to allow you to develop Rodriguez in peace

Some old leaders but they should do you well enough to stay up, which is the key to everything.

It couldn't have went any better way possible. Joel Yates back to you for a reasonable fee, while I got more than you could pay at the time
I think he's underestimated by many tbh. There's some nice 69's there that will help him perform. And it's not like he's weak in MO, COB or SPR either. Relatively easy and cheap bumps - and a ridiculously competitive wage!
If those 69's had been 70's he would likely have had the double market value - but in makes absolutely no difference!
You managed to build a very likeable and competitive PCT setup. I'll be rooting for you as always!

Thanks everyone for the words of support to the squad as well! We are very excited to begin racing with the squad!
We have made some final signings including FA and stagiares as well as 1 trade from a team. Let's announce our final signings before we look at the full squad soon!
FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | 66 | 75 | 68 | 72 | 72 | 67 | 70 | 61 | 59 | 64 | 65 | 70 | 71 |
Age : 33 - Potential : 5 - Wage :50k
This American stage racer joins us as a domestique for Angel Madrazo. He is a strong climber with a good ability against the clock which will be extremely handy for us in the longer tours!
FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | 66 | 76 | 75 | 65 | 63 | 72 | 72 | 54 | 60 | 72 | 77 | 62 | 65 |
Age : 30 - Potential : 5 - Wage : 70k
Sakalou joins us as a key domestique in the mountains. Once we signed Madrazo we knew we didn't have the support he deserved so that became a priority for us. Sakalou joins Brandt as 2 key domestiques as well as Schleck, Bevin and other riders soon to be announced.
FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | 62 | 76 | 66 | 70 | 64 | 67 | 70 | 50 | 50 | 52 | 50 | 51 | 70 |
Age : 35 - Potential : 7 - Wage : 50k
Ratiy joined us very late in the transfer season and came in to be a strong help for Madrazo and other climbers. With his good mountain skills and TT skills he will be able to do well in some races and score us some points that could make the difference. We are excited to see how Ratiy will go with us!
FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | 66 | 73 | 70 | 74 | 65 | 70 | 67 | 65 | 55 | 66 | 65 | 66 | 73 |
Age : 33 - Potential : 3 - Wage : 55k
De Luna is going to give us a strong stage race support rider. He is great against the clock and will help us in the lower parts of the mountains. De Luna joined us from Xero and gives us good depth in multiple areas. The mexican should fit right in and hopefully help make a difference!
FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | 64 | 66 | 65 | 66 | 62 | 72 | 68 | 60 | 64 | 66 | 73 | 72 | 64 |
Age : 22 - Potential : 4 - Wage 10k
FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | 65 | 58 | 61 | 59 | 65 | 66 | 58 | 58 | 67 | 69 | 58 | 62 | 59 |
Age : 23 - Potential : 4 - Wage 10k
FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | 68 | 64 | 66 | 65 | 67 | 67 | 72 | 68 | 63 | 68 | 64 | 70 | 66 |
Age : 23 - Potential : 4 - Wage : 25k
That is all the riders signed in the transfer window! We will announce the full squad shortly. We believe we have improved the squad in places and added depth. We will also be revealing our intentions for our youth program and how we will grow our young talents.

Even with the sale of Vasyliv and Schultz, we believe we have strengthened this part of the team nicely. While we obviously clearly miss a secondary leader, we have improved our lead stage racer to Angel Madrazo who should definitely be competitive at the PCT level. He is backed up by Jordan Schleck who enters his second season with the team. He is our back up mountain climber. He will be targeting races suited to him and C2 mountain races as we cannot send Madrazo everywhere because of race day limits. Other support comes from Sakalou, Ratiy, Brandt, Bevin, De Luna and Rodriguez. Having this many mountain climbers is an improvement to our squad and we think a good haul of points can come from Madrazo and the rest of the mountain/stage race squad.
This is where we think we have improved the most. We now have one of the strongest hill riders in the PCT who also comes with a strong TT ability and strong acceleration on the hills. Jack Bobridge comes in as our overwhelming leader of the squad. With his PT experience and results over the years we cannot wait to see what he can do for us in the coming PCT season. We have managed to get him a wildcard into the Tour of Tasmania as well and hope to be able to send him there as he has had incredible results and want to give him 1 last shot at winning that race. His back up riders include Joel Yates and Hayden McCormick. Joel Yates will be our secondary leader and his return to the team will see him lead C2 races as well as have a go in PCT races that Jack is unable to rider at. Finally, Hayden McCormick should be able to also get a strong haul of points with his hill ability as well as sprint. He may be able to do well in a reduced sprint or a breakaway. We are extremely happy with the improvement of this area of the team with Joshua Edmondson and Calvin Watson leaving the team.
Even though we have not improved our main time trialist we have improved the overall TTT squad. Erdenebat remains our leader in the TT's even though he had a rough season in the CT last year. He had many opportunities to take a victory but he was either beaten by a team mate or just had a bad day. This season we hope for more. He will remain in our plans and unfortunately he is unable to attend any C2 races but his ability is still good enough to contest in the PCT. Jake Marryatt returns now MAXed and we are very excited to see him in action, however he also cannot attend C2 races, we still expect a good points haul from him. Bevin can attend C2 and will lead any TT lead races in the C2 division along with De Luna. Our prologue leader is still Markus Kopfauf who was incredible last year winning the Jelajah SKL GC and helping us promote with 2 other victories. We are excited to see him in the PCT this season! A strong TTT squad and our strongest ever and we can't wait to see them race in the TTTs and ITTs this season!
Kind of non existent but worth a mention. Jimmy Muhindo and Munkhtulga Erdenesuren will be our riders in any cobbled races we are forced to participate in. We have avoided it as much as possible however there may be 1 or 2 we have to race in. These 2 guys will do their best in those.
This is an excited squad for us. 3 of the 5 rider squad are almost completely homegrown by us. Our new sprint leaders include Leigh Howard and Madushanka Perera. They will be sharing the load of the sprints this season as their RDs aren't enough to cover the season on their own. They will be supported by Cameron Scott, Narankhuu Baterdene and Luke Mudgway. Scott will also be our sprint leader in C2 races. We are very excited to see our sprint squad in action and have the Oceanian legend in Leigh Howard.
We are very excited to see this squad in action. We will be updating our talents in a coming post and announcing our goals soon as well!

I really like what you've done
Obviously spending a lot to get a premium talent like Rodriguez was costly, but you still managed to build a very nice squad. The leaders aren't flawless and will need to be replaced next season, but I see them doing well enough. The support is nice and you can easily get by not scoring in cobbled races.

Thanks!
Yeh we believe that Rodriguez was worth it and in a few years could really lead the team! Massive spend now but we managed to sell some other high wage riders to bring in our leaders.
These leaders definitely will need replacing next season but at least they should help us avoid relegation and we can see where we are at next season. I think we have the key pieces to create a successful squad we just need to continue the improvements and not fall backwards again.

How good is Madrazo going to be? That's the key for your season. Bobridge we know will be good, but alone he won't be enough. And i fear Madrazo is just one year too late for those kind of heroics. Ideally he'll prove me wrong, but even if not there's an immediate bounce-back CT team already there for you.

@TMM - We hope the whole team can do enough to get us clear of relegation, even if it means Madrazo not a huge amount of scoring. I guess we just have to make sure we send him to the right races. We will see and its going to be a very interesting season! Hopefully we won't need to worry about the CT next season
We have put a lot of focus this season into developing youth. We have 8 youth riders in our squad with 5 of them racing for us. 3 are stagiares and will be racing in c2 races all year long and also HC races from August onwards. The other 5 are full contract talents. 2 of which have been sent on loan (Ramirez and Thompson). Let's see how they will look after their development is complete in a few years time!

That Rodriguez fellow sure looks fine! A good set of youngsters there you got yourself. I'll be keeping an eye on your team. The strategy of bringing in old guys to keep the team afloat has its merits and its risks. I'll be interested to see how it works for you, especially since you have 5 riders who've ridden for me in the past. Good luck!

@Gustavovskiy - He is going to be a beast! Really happy with the riders we have coming through as well! I hope that the old guys can keep the team afloat for a season and then next year we will look at trying to bring in a set of more permanent leaders now that I have gotten my youth core for the foreseeable future.
Ezeefreak has been an incredible designer for us this season leading us away from the blue we have had for the past few seasons. He did an incredible job with the Purple jersey however we also needed NC jerseys as we have a number of National Champions in the squad. They look incredible and lets now release who will be wearing them and what they look like!
Jordan Schleck will be wearing this incredible jersey for all races this season as he is the RR and TT champion of Uganda! We can't wait to see this jersey in action!
Bilguunjargal Erdenebat will be representing his country in all TTs this season in this amazing Mongolian NC. We love the Mongolian colours and really can't wait to see how Erdenebat represents Mongolia and the team in this jersey!
Democratic Republic of Congo
Jimmy Muhindo continues to represent his country in these colours as the only professional rider from the Democratic Republic of Congo. Do not let that take away his merit though! A very strong classics rider who will push to the very end! We hope he can do his country proud and motivate other riders to pursue professional cycling from his country!
Flavio De Luna will be the Mexican TT champion for the season! He will be a massive aid to us in a TTT and in stage races and we can't wait to see him represent Mexico in the TT setting.
We thank Ezeefreak for his amazing work on all the jerseys and we are very excited to see how they look throughout the season!!!
