don't know where to post it, so here we are...
I saw in some screenshot from the new game that there will be 3 climbing primary skills: mountain, medium mountain and hills.
Anyone is aware on how this will work? I'm quite interested in buying the new game (my last was pcm17)

found this about it.
It talks about the duration of the climb, seems that climbs will be sorted by duration, examples are 2'30" for hill, 20' med mountain and 40' for mountain, but it doesn't exactly explain how these skills will interact between them (for example an 8' or 27' climb?)

Agility skill looks very promising too, but unfortunately seems to be just a TdF23 new feature, and not for PCM...that's quite a delusion

I assume similarly to prl/tt aka on a sliding scale

so it should replace the system based on the effort introduced in pcm17

it seems so, actually the system is 0-85 Mountain / 86-95 mountain-hill (progressively) / 96-99 Hill.
Now we should expect to see something based on climb length...btw I hope cyanide will do it good because I already see some difficulty...
i.e. what happen if in the middle of a long 40 min climb we have a little "rest" part of 3 minutes of plain or downhill? |

good point, I think that the effort method works well in this term, it deserves a development in its direction despite a step back based on climb duration.

apparently its still bound to effort cursor:
0-77: Mountain
77-87: Mountain / Medium Mountain
87-95: Medium Mountain / Hill
96+: Hill
I wasnt able to test though, so not 100% sure |
