That's as good as it could have got for Perfectly Purple Pumpernickel! Now to remain consistent for the rest of the race.
Also, Talansky, wow! Always great to see an ex-rider do well and Talansky is one the better ones we've had. Great result for Glanbia. Congrats!
Thanks for the report WJ

Well, nobody is more surprised than us. Talansky seems to have some hidden stats
Long few days ahead but we're already in bonus territory.
Thanks for the report,

Not the worst result for Mas all things considered with other leaders so we’ll take it! Hopefully he can somehow make his way into the Top 10 but if not then I’ll take a Top 15.
Thanks for the opening report and congrats to Macc on the surprise stage win!

Big one by Talansky, congrats to flying Glanbia! Also how shaky is Madrazos form this year?!

Nothing lost on that stage, Penasa still 3rd in the GC, so all good.

A great duel by the CT French teams, and a superb win for Le Creuset! Nice to see Bordeaux will be wearing green and polka-dots as a consolation prize. Hope Madrazo can turn his shitty form around soon.

Enjoying Yellow for a day, thought that stage would have been more selective, plenty of time for that I guess!
Well done Kandezsbunzler

Yes, very nice result.
First stage was a bit underwhelming, with Rochas working a ton to no avail, and I was afraid stage 2 would be the same, but no, 2nd place in the stage and provisionnal points and KoM is nice. And I'm happy that Le Creuset take this one, we shared the work to make the break successful, and they get a fair share of the reward, with all their team involved, congrats.
Now we should be in a good position to attack and try to keep the jersey. I hope the team will continue to go in to support Rochas as well.
Also, I just realized today (even though SoTD probably told me) that Rochas is U25 eligible. I knew my planning for him was bad, now it's worse.
Thanks for the reports!

Slightly less exciting stage today, and missing out on the bonus seconds again :/
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Yesterday was really disappointing, all riders losing about ten minutes at least. But all's forgotten as today was the day we waited for since the races in March: our second win of the season after half a dozen second places and even more plain disappointing races - and what a win! Not just nearly the whole team in the break, but them being strong enough to reduce the group to mostly our own riders was a big relief and pleasure to watch. And Henao finishing the work of the team is just great.
Bordeaux taking the jerseys for now is nice given the shared work today, but I hope for Henao to fight for the KoM at least and maybe get it home too.

Going quite well so far
But, how is Padun in U25? That should not be right? The guy literally is 26..

So is Min... Guess WJ has the wrong cdb; the initial one had the wrong year, I guess that's why some older riders are still in U25. Looks like quite a lot of manual result fixing for me then to get the calculations right... (@WJ, I'd prefer having the original files and doing the fixes by hand)
Congrats to Le Creuset indeed, great team tactics and a well-deserved win! Overall a huge race for CT so far, but I guess the big guns will destroy us starting with today
So far, Stüssi has done well, always attentive, well positioned. Too bad we didn't send Schmid in the break, though, he'd have given Henao and Rochas a good fight I guess. Unfortunately he's pretty useless this year, despite his great skillset for attacks...
Thanks for the report!

Yes I have the wrong cdb and didn't notice until I was done with like 3 hours of reporting will manually fix the results later, I had some issues with how some of the files are on my onedrive and some aren't which caused a mixup I didn't notice until I was too deep. Ensure the u25 is corrected when I get home

That was the one stage where we couldn't reasonably expect much. From now on it's redemption time, or slipping further into Madrazo-induced despair, we'll see Thanks for the report and congrats kandesbunzler, super nice result and great team work!

Hoem is doing okay so far with a 18th GC, but a top 10 could be within reach. Tomorrows stage will be vital
Thank you very much WhiteJersey! |

Not the smartest Oomen we're seeing this race, but no one can deny Team Popo finally deserves this.

Cracking effort from Mas! I love that he wanted to try his luck and take the risk of losing more time in order to gain time on others and it paid off. 3rd on the stage is a great result along with moving himself up into 8th in the GC.
Going to be a challenge for him to hold that spot in tomorrows time trial and then again on the final stage but the signs are good!
Congrats to Popo on Padun moving into the race lead! Tomorrow and the final day could both be very decisive! Thanks also for the report
