Obviously Pidcock's absence is hurting me. There are stories he will miss more races as there is a new concussion protocol that forces riders to rest after a bad crash, but we'll see. Also a Last Dance performance from Sagan is not going to happen anytime soon. Can't really complain about my other riders.
(rankings on previous page by the way)
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Left a few points on the table by not including Vuillermoz in the last block, but I suppose it's good to see him being capable of those results in the first place and we still scored pretty well. Laporte, Mohoric and Costa have proven to be a very good trio so far. I'm happy with second place for now, and curious where we'll stand after some of the tougher cobble races.

Cobbleeeeeeeees!
22/03/2023 Brugge - De Panne Classic WT2
24/03/2023 E3 Harelbeke WT1
26/03/2023 Gent - Wevelgem WT1
26/03/2023 GP Industria CT1
You may think we're halfway through the game. You may think the rankings are pretty much decided by now. You may think the top 5 is out of reach for you. But you are wrong.
So far we've only had 1/4 Monuments, 1/5 WT1 races and 1/4 WT2 races. Pointwise, everything is possible still. Last year we had the Bombers pretty much last at this pont, but they started to turn it around on the cobbles to finish 2nd overall.
No less than 3 WT races in this block, including the big 2 in Harelbeke and Wevelgem. De Panne is only WT2, but still worth a lot of points. GP Industria is in the block as well, as the perfect opportunity to pick up an easy win.
Startlist are good if you like Belgian races. Startlist are not good if you like Italian races. Either way, I will need your Block 5 startlists by wednesday 10:00 am CET.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Was feeling rather disappointed when I noticed I hadn't selected Taminiaux after his fourth place in Bredene, because he wasn't supposed to race there. Meanwhile I selected 3/4 others not riding just to put a name there.
Good news is Gianni Vermeersch could score many 'assist' points with VD Poel racing that strongly Bad news is he might be our top scorer that way.

MSR was indeed a huge success, trebling my overall score. The next block will be as crucial as the team name suggests, with 11 of our riders at the start of two or more races, leaving us with the huge chance of wrong decisions. So here they are 8the riders and the wrong decisions):
Cobblers Block 5:
KRAGH ANDERSEN Sören
WRIGHT Fred
KÃœNG Stefan
KWIATKOWSKI Michal
KOOIJ Olav
VAN HOOYDONCK Nathan
LAMPAERT Yves
TURGIS Anthony

Wasn't Turner supposed to be back for E3? But yeah, injuries can really hurt a team.
EDIT: they just removed him from the startlist, so I guess not

Fainthearts Block 5
DE LIE Arnaud
EWAN Caleb
PAGE Hugo
WALSCHEID Max
BISSEGGER Stefan
WELSFORD Sam
GANNA Filippo
VAN LERBERGHE Bert
9 riders on startlists so far, Welten is the one who didn't make the list. Just because I suppose that Page should have some better chances for assist points. No-one in Industria so far, so I guess Rota will just win it ^^
Too bad we don't do stage races, Ciccone and Schmid would have yielded some nice points today

The bad news is, you were a few minutes late. The good news is your previous selection was pretty much the same
