Prologue was OK, but we'll have to step up our game in the mountains.
Thanks for the reports!

Wow... where, please, did Stepniak come from? He was invisible all the way and then pops up to win the stage? Must've been riding in invisible mode then
I thought he had picked the perfect wheel, but was clearly disappointed to no longer see him a couple of meters later; guess Dzervus just couldn't keep up with Krieger. Which in the end was the winning situation, with Grzegorz the only one to be at full speed all the way to the line! Guess he loves countries with red and white flags, having stage wins in Poland and Canada now - and his stage results alongside the provisional green jersey somewhat compensate for a really shitty month otherwise.
Thanks for the report, and hopefully the climbers will do a better job than in the other Canadian mountain race...

Well done by Itturia to finish 5th and place himself well in the GC.
It'll all come down to the TTT, but for now it certainly is encouraging.
Nice rider by Berthet too; his best stage with us so far.

Not bad, but not great either. This IMO puts an end to our GC aspirations and will hope that we get better collective result

Damn Sepp loves it in Canada right now. Revard taking 8th and young rider lead to top it off, Can't have gone any better than that. Probably due a bad day here soon.

We're making our presence felt in the breakaways and that's what we're here for. Our young riders are gathering the necessary experience in an active way. I'm quite satisfied about how they ride.
Congratulations to the stage winners and thank you very much for the reports!

Just caught up with some recent results.
Solid race for O'Connor so far: good opening TT, not so special first mountain stage though. Anything inside the Top-10 would be a nice bonus score for a C2 appearance, so I will take it (so far).

Not really good enough for neither Mannion nor Talansky to be in top 10, need a good other mountain stage and then to make up a couple of places in the TTT

Schleck is doing well up in 7th in GC. Hopefully he can do well in the last mountain stage before we have try keep his position in the TTT.

Mannion and Talansky just about holding on to a chance of a decent result.
Really, in these C2 races I'd hope for top 5s so a top 10 would be bare minimum

Kinda anonymous and lame results for O'Connor after a strong prologue, but at least he stays in touch with the Top-10 GC. Which is solid for a C2 entree, I guess. Not sure about the TTT now. We are rated midfield with (iirc) three solid TT riders. At this point, I just want to stay inside the Top-10 instead of trying to calculate our chances for maybe gaining one position in the GC

Satisfying stage for us, with Mikkel holding on to the top 5 and with the favorites.
Also 4 riders in the top 30 is nice.
Obviously, things will change with the TTT, but maybe we can lose not too much time, and hold on to a 3rd in the team rankings.
Thanks for the report, happy to see Jura doing well.

That was managed well, Stussi was due for a great day and he was clearly the best. Congrats to Fab on dominant stage win,
But we did enough to keep him under control in the GC, enjoyed seeing 4 McCormick riders near the front at he start of the final climb without counting Kuss or Revard. Hopefully the GC gap is big enough for us to protect in the final TTT. And another great ride from Revard, he is the one really exceeding expectations for us here.
Thanks LLS for the report.

Apologies for the delays on the final stage. Had a few technical difficulties.

Actually a solid TTT from our team, but O'Connor still dropped a place unfortunately. As said before, a Top-10 in a C2 race is quite okay for us, even though the opening TT went more promising than that.
Thanks for the reports, LLS, and congratulations to those, who did well!

Thanks LLS
Great results ans scoring for both Jura and McCormick, the rest of us are eating their dust.
A decent TTT for our guys to salvage a top 10.
BTW, for my own record keeping could I ser which of my riders picked up points in that last stage? I think only best 5 finishers do ...?

Sorry for not having commented starting from stage 4. Stage 4 actually made my motivation drop to 0. Stüssi losing more than 90" on Kuss is just ridiculous, can't say it otherwise.
So we brought the best stage racer.
We brought the strongest mountain support team.
We brought the best TTT lineup.
Yet, we didn't win the race.
And after that stage 4, it looked like we wouldn't even make the podium. So I thought I'd better write nothing that write bullshit.
Yes, I'm still frustrated we didn't win the race. I still don't have an explanation for stage 4.
But the team really made the very best out of the rest of the race. Stüssi won stage 6. We won stage 7. We won the team standings. Stüssi finished 2nd in GC, took the points and KoM jersey. For him, that's two stage wins, one third, one fourth place. Usually that's enough for an easy GC win, but well, he's yet to win one. One chance left I guess.
Mäder not winning the U25 is slightly disappointing, too, but I guess McCormick were lucky that they did nothing at all during the stages and could just ride for stage results, while my doms were soon empty. Feels a bit random, too, but I guess that's always been like this.
I guess with our stage results and jersey wins we should still be able to outscore McCormick - points-wise it definitely was a top race for us, but not winning it still hurts.
For McCormick, that's 2 out of 3 North American stage races won this year - what are the odds that ToA is next? Congrats anyway, Kuss is just surprisingly strong so far - and extremely consistent.
Thanks for the reports to LLS, and sorry again for not having commented for a while. But I can tell you it's better this way
Btw, I'll be working on ranking updates as soon as possible, but it looks like LLS' technical issues might also have affected the result files - I'll try to find a solution, but don't be disappointed if ranking updates still take a couple of days to be posted...

According to the result file I currently have, those 5 were Healy, Oram, Mannion, Talansky and Downey. Nelson was dropped
For BWT, the point scorers would be Kozhatayev, Tzortzakis, Ahmad Zamri, De Luna and Jacobsen.
But don't take this for granted yet.
