I admit that I currently feel quite relieved here! Obviously a podium would have been great - but I'll take 4th from Moscon anytime in HC - and more importantly the fact that he actually still can be competitive if he just wants to. Maybe he just likes Poland - I don't care why he does well, as long as he does!
Congrats to Areruya on a nice stage win here, and thanks to Imladrik for the report!
@Imladrik: btw, Moscon not quite Swiss

So close for Novak (who has the wrong mini jersey by the way, I saw it in some other race report as well?), but at least it's clear who our leader is now!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Not a bad stage for us. Seems liek Aranburu wasn't super well positioned early, but he made all the splits when it mattered and avoid any time loss at the finish. He did fade a bit in the sprint, but that was along with all the other puncheurs who went early, so I'm not gonna put too much thought into that. We're in a decent spot so far.
Kind of excited to see Lander gets a couple of tries now. I think this will be his first race as sprint leader, and he's got the track record.

Almost a disaster with the split early in the stage but, in the end, a really fantastic result for Mas in this field!!
Putting himself into the podium positions in the GC should hopefully mean he puts up a fight in the other hills where he probably isn’t the favourite to remain.
Thank you for the report! Areruya too strong as expected while a former talent pipping us for 2nd on the stage.

Great ride from particularly Hamilton, but also Storer (finally). McCarthy with an attack is nice to see, too, even though he didn't do overwhelmingly fine in this move when every crucial stage will go close to good as this stage, I will be happy of course.

First time in a long while I've accidentally spoiled a result for myself by opening the discussion thread not knowing a report was posted (thanks spambots) - and the first time ever it's been a stage my team won! Strange finale there, Areruya looking way out then a huge comeback, then slowing up, then winning at the end. Cool to get a first stage win, hope for one or two more but more importantly for at least one more decisive stage to jump up the GC. Guess we're all in for Areruya with Habtemichael and Fouche losing a bunch of time, should have been Teams favourites but even Stannard dropped off a bit which is disappointing to lose that depth scoring if we can't win the GC, so hopefully their efforts can make the next stages harder for our rivals at least

Perfect start to this race. Faglum Karlsson with a great prologue and did just enough to not lose time on the final hill. Now to see if we can defend the jersey. Some dangerous guys not too far behind, so we’ll have to hope the final hill stages aren’t too selective

Scheit got the "get in the break" message a bit late. Pay more attention in the next stages!
Kraftwerk up from 22nd to 5th in teams, hope the boys can get us up to the top 3 by the finish.

You're wrong, he's obviously Swiss. Look at his jersey!
(I knew that, but I guess I forgot while writing. And maybe it has something to do with the way of saying in France, as we give to a sport player the nationality of his team quite easily).

There are two Novaks in the race, and I didn't pay attention while writing which one it was (or, I knew it was yours, but didn't pay attention to which I did select for the report).
Sorry 'bout that, I'll try to avoid this on the later reports. |

Well a bit of a nothing stage for us but that’s a good thing given where Mas is in the GC. Kept himself out of trouble. A decent effort from Paez for 11th but never going to be able to compete in such a sprint.

So close yet so far! It was a very exciting finish with phenomenal coverage. Thank you Imladrik!
The high speed finish and long stage definitely helped us with Lander's flat and resistance. Lander placed himself very well there. Almost looked like he was gonna go too early, but he luckily latched onto Haller and waited a little longer. Given how close things were at the end, I'm very happy to get 2nd and the small points tally it brings in. Hopefully we can get a similar result tomorrow.
Congrats to Jura!

Wow, what a sprint by our last-minute signing! Stepniak was really smart this time, choosing the right wheel, waiting until the final 500m or so, and then bringing it home - our first non-TT stage win of the year! Feels great, especially as a CT team
Shoutout also to Karatsivis, joining yet another breakaway. Unfortunately there was just one KoM sprint, but maybe try again on a later stage?
Thanks for the congrats, and thanks to Imladrik for the report!

Thanks for the great report Imladrik.
The Kraftwerk team couldn't have given Haller a better chance but I guess 230km was a bit too far for him, better luck next time.
Congrats to Fabianski.

Well that was unexpected. I guess Jakub really wants us to sell Bonifazio and not replace him.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Stepniak had the right wheel again, but today he was too impatient and left Mareczko's slipstream way too early. Still, I'll happily take that 5th place and one day in green - with only uphill stages left he'll definitely not stay on top, but wearing the sprint jersey in his home race must be a great feeling
Congrats to Ollfardh - given Mareczko's origins, that's actually both sprint stages won by Polish sprinters

Lander was in a decent spot again, but seemed to get caught against the barriers for a bit and never got to the front. Still 2nd and 4th are good enough results to justify his participation I think.
Now for Aranburu to step up and carry the torch!

Useless race for us so far.

Not much to write home about for us so far. At least our young guys show themselves in the breakaways. And some nice reporting by Imladrik, thank you!

1000m sprint is never on, waste of Haller's race days sadly.
