Nice squad!! Definitely a strong sprint squad. That will be hard to beat. A strong TT rider as well! Interesting to see how your classics and mountain/stage race team goes with no real standout rider. However you have a strong base so should be interesting! Excited to have some battles with you!
Good Luck!

If your sprinters work well - and especially Willwohl should imho - you'll be a real threat on any flat stage. I have to agree with Jackstar though that especially the uphill races aren't the best fit for you - you'll have to count on breakaway luck to score well in an incredibly stacked CT field this year. Grosser could be a great pick for less tough hilly races, though!
Even the cobbles are insanely packed in CT this year, so while I really like Vermeersch's versatility, all those 77-79 cobblers won't make his life easy ^^
Predatsch is another wildcard - with TTs being rather random, you'll have to hope he sticks from time to time against a bunch of other 76-78 TTers...
Great to see that you're committed to development; even if your first season shouldn't turn out to be overly successful in terms of points, you'll be on the winning side long-term

Going to be cheering for Gianni to show up all these one-dimensional cobblers with only a higher main stat And as Croatia said love the graphical quality and effort you are doing in the HQ
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Thanks for the kind words.
Honestly, i expect it to be a season full of struggles but i hope we can sprinkle some success into all of this to make it more enjoyable. I dont expect anything that comes close to promoting to PCT buut like you figured that isnt my goal now anyway. II wanna build a team thats worth of this myself and just add a few pieces from ouutside, that will take some years.
------------------------------------
Calendar added to the first page post. Check it out now so you can watch us.
Now i wanna present you our moddest goals for the first season.
Race | Goal | Berlin ProRace | Top 10 | Tour of California | Top 10 | GP Herning | Top 5 | Betonexpressz GP | Win | Team Standings | Top 10 |
Like i said earlier all will be tough for us. But if we could develop our young riders a few steps the season will be couunt as success for us personally!

Lets race for Last in the CT! Although i expect you to be easily clear with an extra sprinter and hills depth over me. Head up, eyes forward, as you say it's about what happens in 2-3 seasons time.
Also, love the jersey!

After the races in our firt months are over we have updated our Results. We couldn't quite achieve what we wanted in the one day races but we did really well in the first tour. I would say Vuelta al Tachira was a success for us. We could bring it multiple Top 10 finishes, even 3 on the Podium at Stages and J. Hindley did well in the GC and KoM. P. Bauhaus did really well in sprint finishes and could get a couple points. K. Predatsch did what we expected of hom, he raced till the last stage and could finish p2 in this short TT.
Overall we are very happy and look forward to the next month.

FEBRUARY UPDATE
It would have been almost an horrible month but in the end the Race Kuurne - Bruxelles - Kuurne did brighten up the month a bit. The rults till then were quite disappointing getting almost nothing. Especially our cobbles squad was really in a bad shape. Luckily with our last race this month Gianni Vermeersch could finally show why we gave him a contract. Finishing 5th was really good and score quite some points for us. So in the end the month wasnt horrible BUT it wasnt also good. So let's hope this will be the start of more good results.
Overview:
- P28 G. Vermeersch @ Omloop Het Nieuwsblad
- P5 G. Vermeersch @ Kuurne - Brussel - Kuurne

The first two months indeed have been pretty rough for your team, but it's great to see your patience rewarded by Vermeersch stepping up now
I guess you were pretty realistic saying that your team will need some time to get to top CT level, but I'm sure more good results will come your way already this year

Though It's kinda disappointing to see some of our results it also already teached me a lot for the next year and team composition. So i try to focus on the good things. And seeing some of my riders in the top 10 always lighten up the day.
My main goal for this year is now getting as close as possible to top 10 at team ranking, this is already hard enough but a great starting point for the next years. Success needs good fundamentals

It's far from a bad start to the season. Herning was definitely a disappointment, but some more above expectation rides from Hindley will more than make up for Vermeersch dips.

After a long time there will be finally a new Update here, i also Updated the Results overview at the beginning.
WINS
| W. Willwohl | 1st | Stage 2 | Jelajah SKL |
PODIUMS
| R. Jans | 3rd | GC | GP Izola |
TOP 10
| G. Vermeersch | 7th | GC | Geraardsbergen - Bosberg | | W. Willwohl | 6th | Points | Jelajah SKL | | A. Grosser | 8th | Stage 2 | Jelajah SKL | | A. Grosser | 6th | GC | GP Izola |
In March we got our first victory of the season. Willwohl claimed the victory with an awesome sprint at the second stage of Jelajah SKL. Obviously that was our highlight of this month. besides the Coppa Plazzi we scored a few good results in each race we participated, at the end of the month Jans scored our second Podium of the month followed by Grosser also in the Top 10. Overall we can be satisfied with this month, at the moment thats just simply what we are capable of.
WINS
| T. Van Dijke | 1st | KoM | USA Pro Cycling Challenge |
PODIUMS
| D. Wohrer | 2nd | Stage 4 | Tour of California | | W. Willwohl | 3rd | Stage 1 | USA Pro Cycling Challenge |
TOP 10
| D. Wohrer | 6th | KoM | Tour of California | | L. Plapp | 5th | U25 | Tour of California | | W. Willwohl | 9th | Stage 2 | USA Pro Cycling Challenge | | W. Willwohl | 10th | Stage 3 | USA Pro Cycling Challenge | | W. Willwohl | 5th | Points | USA Pro Cycling Challenge | | T. Van Dijke | 10th | Stage 2 | USA Pro Cycling Challenge | | T. Van Dijke | 10th | U25 | USA Pro Cycling Challenge | | L. Plapp | 9th | U25 | USA Pro Cycling Challenge |
The april kinda leaves mixed feelings. We had some really good results in the 2 tours we were competing in but the one day results werent great and it shows that this seems to be our weakness. In the more competitive races like Berlin Pro Race and GP Wallonie you can see we just lack the skill needed for them at the moment. The lincoln GP wasnt that succesful also but at least we could score.
But on the bright side we could win the Mountains classment of the USA Pro Cycling Challenge with Van Dijke. Our youngster did really well there and sshowed what we can expect in the future, we look forward to that. Willwohl again scored in sprints and as allways Plapp showed that he can be a threat in the future at Stage Races. Also Wohrer landed a Podium at the Tour of California.
In summary these 2 month had some highlights but clearly also highlighted that we are lacking a lot of things that we need to target for the next seasons. But for this we hope we can continue to get some great results every now and then. Hopefully the next update won't take as long as this time. See you on the roads!

May, a really nice month with mostly excellent weather. I wih I could say that also about our results here but this wasnt a great month result wise. We had a great highlight though when Wohrer and Hindley came in 2nd and 3rd at the 2nd Stage of the Int. Österreich Tour. This clearly wasnt expected and showed what our riders can do when they are in absolute top condition. Otherwise our month was full of okay-ish results.
In general this isnt dissapointing though because we have to see what kind of team we are and who are our riders. Everyone tries their best and meet their expectations i would say, we simply arent strong enough for more. So overall I we did learn a lot in this month and we will continue to learn even more so we can come back next season with a way better constructd team to fight for more good results. In the meantime I hope some of our riders can shine every now and then!

I'm sure you'll be able to improve next season. It's always easier when you have a base to build from and year 1 is mostly about building that base and figuring things out.

Given how much emphasis you put on youth development and how you built more through many well-rounded riders rather than one or two stars, I think you've done really well so far. Two wins and nine podiums are a good bunch of results to keep you engaged and entertained when you're not aiming for promotion this year and instead, like red said, are building the foundation from which you can attack over the next couple of years. And if you're already thinking ahead and about what you can learn from your approach this year, that only bodes well for the future, imo!

I can definitely get your frustration. I also focused on the longer term in my first year, and my squad mostly wasn't really competitive. Besides Willwohl, you can't really expect your guys to fight for top spots against the favorites - but I do think that you've got a well-suited team for attacks. Especially Hindley has scored some nice results, and I guess he should get some more of those.
I hope you'll be able to keep your motivation up, so you can get to see some of your talents levelled up next year, and generally build upon the solid base you have now! Get yourself two good CT-level leaders, and your team will be even way more fun to follow

Honestly, there isnt much to talk about in june. I think that month really shows what the team is capable of in realistic conditions at the moment. So see yourself everything noticable i wrote down:
Hanko Classic C1
- W. Willwohl P25
Ras Tailteann C2
- P. Bauhaus S1 P12
- P. Bauhaus S3 P5
Tour of Vancouver C2
- M. Schachmann S2 P16 ; S3 P9 ; S5 P14
- D. Wohrer S4 P22
Monterrey TTT C2
- Team P9
Apex Mountain Classic C1
- J. Hindley P25
I am not frustrated or unhappy about it though, I need to be realistic and thats what we can do. One thing needs to change for sure next season, besides Predatsch we're just really bad when it comes to TT. That should be one focus for next year.
So thats all for June, if all races for July are done the next update will come and that will have some highlight for us.
--------
Overall I can already announce that the team is in advanced talks with partners already for the next season. Despite our, mostly mediocre, results there is a strong interest to work with us in the future!

I'm sure you already have a lot in mind for the off season. Will be interesting to see your line up for next year It's a learning process that most of us have gone through.
Hopefully the remainder of this season bring some minor results, so you can end on a good note!

Seems like we're kind of in the same train!
Good luck for the last part of the race, we'll do better next season (maybe )
