Absolutely pathetic from AKA. He's usually so good, so I have no idea what the deal is here. He sprinted way too early on day 1, then moved up the favorites list the last two days and hasn't joined a train since. I know it's a stacked field, but you have to at least have one good day and finish in a minor placing.
A good GC place is out of reach now, wasted race days.

No sprinter, no breakaway efforts.. this race probably will be a zero pointer for us

Plan C is to ditch Vesely. Three riders in the top fifteen is the result but none of them in the points
Plan D: Daniel Wins By Four Hours

Guess we were limited to one good day, while others didn't even get that. Thanks for the reports Nemo!
EDIT: there's 5 stages apparently, one more chance for failure!

Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Reinhardt finishing on place 117, 87, 118 and 61 respectively
Maybe Drizners can pick up some GC points, thanks to his attacking style.
Congrats quadsas with another victory!

Jpag getting some TV time for us is nice. Crossing my fingers he attacks again to take the u25 win tomorrow. Lovely ride from Saber today. Hopefully he can make up for not turning up to KBK. Thanks for the report Nemo

Another handy finish to hold that 4th GC spot. Fingers crossed for a good ride tomorrow and that Howard can keep himself in the top-5.
Thanks for the report Nemo!

48th. Wow. That's three days in a row AKA is a 2-star favorite, and three days with absolutely no attempt to latch onto a train. And this last time, he didn't even stay near the front.
After Ulrich pointed out the 4th best sprinter bug, I can't help but wonder.

No show from Minali once again. Hoping he has a little left for the final stage.
Congrats to quadsas and thanks for the report Nemo

A terrible race for us gets salvaged just a tiny bit by AKA deciding to sprint on the last stage. 6th place is about where I would have hoped he averaged throughout the race. Instead, it's his best finish by far. But I can't be mad because it at least means we take like 25 points from this race instead of 0, which is what we were in line for. Everyone else outside the top 100, so no depth points either.
Obviously not what we wanted from an HC race, but AKA has had more than his fair share of sprinter luck the last year. Hopefully this is a one time thing and not a return back to 2020.
Congrats to Red Bull and thanks for the reports!

Sending Saber here was an obvious mistake I just realised. But nonetheless. Points are points. Blame it on myself to think Saber could’ve really done something here. Congrats to the winners and thank you Nemo for the reporting

Okay, we managed to be 100% invisible in five days.
Thanks for the reports and congratulations to those, who did well!

Around 50pprd from a C1 race is fantastic, and it also was our win goal, so doubly as great. Lets hope for same in Barbados or whatever is the other sprint stage race
