That was really bad. No clue what happened to Eddy - from winning the race (and two stages) in one year to almost not caring at all the year after (with the same engine) doesn't sound reasonable at all. Guess it must have something to do with your lineup? I could imagine that his bad TT got PCM to ignore him in terms of GC favorite, but with the startlist being rather weaker than last year, that's really crazy...
Hope he'll bounce back soon - if possible in PTHC races, so we don't have to suffer from his revenge

Been very interested in what your stage racing squad can do and excited to see some of them in action, albeit on the PTHC stage

In the past some of the stages were pretty breakaway-friendly, and I guess that's where you have your biggest chances of succeeding. Obviously, if Pogacar performs like his RL double, he'll get a great GC result - with the very long climb on the last stage and his great energy stats, I wouldn't even be surprised that much if he did

I had to plan for PTHC stage racing for XP reasons, due to not knowing whether I'll be afforded a GT wildcard.

I think getting GC depth pts is more likely than getting lucky in the breakaway. We'll see if we're capable of either.
Nice to know I can bring some good news. Beltran not racing might be good news for me also.

The points are pretty much miniscule, but it was just nice to be involved in some fun racing for once. I haven't been able to enjoy cobbled races the last 4 years.
