Let's just say the hills were a bit too much for Bonifazio and he's focusing on tomorrow's stage. Congrats to the Crabpack!

Interesting stage in general here, thanks for the report! Seems like Kennaugh is turning into a 2nd which might cost us a few points this season but 2 second places from 2 race days so far is hard to be upset at. Congrats to CC!

I have to agree with roturn in the report - very happy to see both Jensen and AKA trying in the same stage. That's basically the most important thing for us. Jensen's attack was never really gonna work, but I have to hope that won't dramatically reduce his energy later on, and is instead a good sign that he's looking to be aggressive for GC.
And in the end, a rock solid result as well with AKA in 4th. Surfed the wheels well and finished behind stronger sprinters, still in a good position. Nice spot for bonus seconds too. Off to a good start here!

Sixth is a good result for Stallaert, can't ask for much more than that in this field. Would love to be in breakaways though. Thanks for the nice report roturn. And congrats Laurens, those are exactly the kinds of points that are regularly needed for survival.

Wow, didn't see that one coming I'll cherish this one for sure, as I don't expect much from this season tbh.
Thanks for all the kind words!

Congrats to Laurens and thanks for the great report roturn.
Always worrying to have riders on the front with 3km to go, relieved Zabel could get on the Minions train (sorry to see Vesley blow up). Zabel finishing 3rd to reward his team mates pulling back the attack and getting some valuable bonus seconds.

Houle in 10th is dissapointing when he won that stage last time, but maybe it's a more usual result (though should be somewhere in between) Need more bonuses than that to compete for GC.
Nice to see Eislers win

Gutting to lose that from there. 3rd and 15 bonus seconds is decent but damn, so close
the abstinence of several fast riders
Kump, Enger, AKA and Bouhanni confirmed virgins

So glad to see Eislers immediately delivering to such a high standard. I was fairly sure he would be strong after the first decline and he is proving me correct
Eislers energy stats should help him a whole lot on the hilly stages too...

Good, consistent racing by Stallaert, happy with that. And Mengoulas with his first action in our jersey, too. Unfortunate that he lost time yesterday, he could have been in white otherwise if I'm not mistaken. Congrats on the double win for Eislers.
I do have a question about the bonus seconds though. I see that they've been this way for years, but aren't 25s for the winner and bonus seconds down to the 10th rider usually reserved for pure sprinter races?

Nice result for McCarthy, but a s**show from Storer, which surely will hurt points wise. Not the stuff we need shortly after relegation. Now it's up to McCarthy - and Storer should not sleep back in the pack from now on!

The worst part is probably that he doesn't get a mention anymore when going over the dropped stage favourites.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.
