Couple of nice pickups, especially Govekar. Love a few good regional focus pickups like this

One of the keys to last season's success was good support for Eddy Beltran for the hilly races. We lost some of that support in renewals, so we were keen to add a rider of this profile. We had to pay a bit of a premium price in free agency, but we acquired a young rider in the peak of his powers.
Lucas Eriksson | Age: 26 | Lvl: 4.100 | Wage: 200k FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | 72 | 67 | 78 | 61 | 78 | 74 | 75 | 65 | 65 | 76 | 75 | 71 | 61 |
Eriksson: I know my main role in team is to support Beltran, but he also does a lot of the harder races, where as I will get my own chances elsewhere.

Some very nice pickups at great wages and nice presentations as always. Surprised Eriksson didn't go for more with that many Scandinavian teams and him still being so young actually. Crncevic in the team should ensure the Bosian lovely national jersey to be kept at Cedevita for ever

Govekar was my #1 regional target so I'm glad I got him with zero fuss and I actually have a few more regional additions to come

Maybe slightly surprised with Eriksson, but he wasn't too cheap either
We have cornered the Bosnian NC jersey market

I of course hoped that Eriksson could be my Swedish Juul-Jensen clone, but figured I'd just buy an older, trained Juul-Jensen clone instead.

Having to replace riders that left in renewals was a theme of our free agency. With that being said this is the final free agent signing that adds some climbing depth to our team. And we were surprised we were able to sign a Frenchman at a very competitive price.
Geoffrey Bouchard | Age: 30 | Lvl: 4.100 | Wage: 100k FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | 70 | 77 | 74 | 67 | 70 | 72 | 76 | 55 | 62 | 70 | 78 | 76 | 66 |
Bouchard: Without a bonafide climbing leader I'm sure to get my own chances to shine. Supporting my teammates as well as riding for the best result possible will be my job.

While we mostly get young talented riders from free agency and concentrate that search on the Balkan region, this was an opportunity we weren't willing to pass up. We noticed this rider could be available and after his short trip to Carlsberg he joined us for the minimum 50k fee.
Fred Wright | Age: 23 | Lvl: 1.54 | Wage: 50k FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | 68 | 67 | 68 | 67 | 68 | 70 | 67 | 66 | 69 | 69 | 72 | 65 | 67 |
Wright: I've heard about this team's good development programme and it feels good they that they went out to buy me.

Wright is a cool rider to play around with development possibilities

Bouchard went relatively cheap compared to some fellow countrymen indeed. Wright is a nice pickup for that fee, easy to level up and with many development possibilities indeed like Abhi already stated

A big reason why I bought him. Gonna make him very cool

If Bouchard can be what Gilanipoor was or a bit better even, then that would be very nice

Really cool few signings to fill some of the outgoing holes, so overall looking at the big picture I think I have to agree with you that your team is doomed and going to get worse and Beltran coming 2nd once and 1st once in the individual standings was a fluke and you'll never promote and continue to backslide all the way into the CT

After free agency was over for us we scrambled to find whatever we could with our remaining cap space and still sizeable transfer fee to spend. When we saw it was possible to increase the number of Balkan riders on our team we pounced on the opportunity. In the end we broke even on that number as we sent homegrown rider Matija Mestric and a 550k fee to Evonik - ELKO to get our man.
Milos Borisavljevic | Age: 28 | Lvl: 4.100 | Wage: 100k FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | 68 | 77 | 73 | 74 | 74 | 74 | 75 | 54 | 59 | 65 | 64 | 68 | 74 |
Borisavljevic: I'll spend quite a few races riding alongside Tadej Pogacar. I'm sure we can form a good duo in the mountain stage races.

Boris is a great regional rider imo. Looking forward to see what national jersey Ivan can come up with

Yeah, I like some regional additions. We'll see how they do.

Why even bother commenting?

I'll post the NC shirts in the next week or so

I had my eye on him for a few years now, but he was never available. So I had to go for him now

This is another, late in the transfer period acquisition. Having a bit of extra depth in the hilly races and another attacking option doesn't hurt. And by spending the minimum 70k fee we add a different type of puncheur that comes here from Duolingo.
Hayden McCormick | Age: 28 | Lvl: 4.100 | Wage: 70k FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | 70 | 66 | 76 | 65 | 74 | 71 | 70 | 53 | 73 | 73 | 67 | 59 | 65 |
McCormick: I'm a quite versatile rider with my sprinting ability, so expect to see me performing odd jobs in all sort of races.

Always nice to have domestiques with different secondary skills I feel, and so McCormick provides a bit of a kick and that green flat stat that Beltran could possibly do with at times

Same as last season we were left with a small amount of wage space left and again we were able to secure two Balkan youngsters to add to our young core moving forward.
Aljaz Jarc | Age: 23 | Lvl: 1.00 | Wage: 10k FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | 69 | 63 | 66 | 63 | 67 | 68 | 68 | 68 | 67 | 69 | 72 | 68 | 63 |
Aleks Bechkov | Age: 23 | Lvl: 1.00 | Wage: 10k FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | 67 | 66 | 64 | 69 | 66 | 66 | 65 | 55 | 63 | 60 | 70 | 66 | 68 |

Nice TT stat on Bechkov, might actually be useful for any TTT's you have from August onwards

We'll see. I hope so.

No TTTs past July
I probably could've found a better rider, but it was too tempting to go for another Balkan lad.
