Fyi, really won't have any time on Saturday and can't promise I'll answer very quickly on Sunday either. Ideally renewals are done in the coming two days. If you miss the deadline because you wanted to wait until Sunday evening to do some rounds of renewals when you had a month time, that's on you.

Renewals are not 100 % done yet due to vacation stuff.
So the new DB needs to wait a little bit longer as I also plan to add new rider additions to the file.
BUT feel free to make your renewal posts in the HQ already! |

I think it would be good to have the renewals db before we have to choose (PT)HC bands.
Availability of certain riders could make some differences in planning. |

The first post renewals DB is there. It has one pending team still but has lots of new wages and free agents following the renewals process.
Also a lot of new riders were added to the DB, so that it`s now very much the DB we might see when the transfers start. That said, it`s possible and likely to adjust a rider here and there a bit, so that the final transfers DB will still be different.
It also has the reigning NC/WC information and avenir and training eligibility.
As usual with new rider additions or FAs. Please don`t point out the riders from now on towards transfers as everyone should check the DB himself to find gems or good talents. Though obviously there are obvious riders anyone likely sees quickly. And no reason to not talk about the obvious I guess.
v2: Update: Link is above. Birthdates and xp levels had some errors for newly added riders.

First impression: Holy mother of RES!
Second impression: how appropriate to make Remco ID#1.
First correction: ID 90 Tim van Dijke is not 25yo.

For those without Skype. Something has gone wrong with a lot of rider information not correct. Best is to close the db and wait for the update

The pots for new riders are really low, is this correct?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Yes. With new training ways the potential slowly got reduced over the years to avoid too extreme trainings. Instead level 1 riders were able to get a bit higher stats to compensate this.
In a process of 3-4-5 seasons, which already started at parts last 1-2 years, the main stats might get reduced a bit in total due to lower potentials as well. |

Thanks! I feel a lot more engaged and commited now!!

Yeah not sure whether that initial post by TMM was banter or realtalk, but it surely looks like the former looking at the talent additions of this year.

First of all thanks for the work to anyone who did the db stuff. I do agree that, as an 'active/engaged' manager, I don't feel any of my suggestions from Mexico are really signable. Guess I'll have to make the co-sponsor happy then with an okay Dutch/Belgian talent

No, my post was real talk.
I've given some assistance to JPH who's done the majority of the work, and Roturn has final say. Please point any complaints in their direction (yes i'm shifting blame , my input has been small and i have my own surprises at this latest version)

Have to say on first impression, I'm a bit disappointed that again the FA reduction does not seemed to have happened in earnest. We obviously got a bunch of new managers this time around, but if the goal is to reduce inflation and increase the talent spread among teams long term, delaying that fix another year just digs the hole deeper for mid-tier inflation. I know it's impossible to please everyone (see those above and elsewhere wanting more talents), but it seemed that most managers were on board with the FA reduction aspect when we discussed it earlier in the year.
In any case, huge thanks to all who worked on the DB this offseason! Very excited for another transfer season!
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

At least there are some, my region has none. I guess that Belgium rider is the main focus this year. I'm not sure what that spells for the future, but I have to be honest and say that my enthusiasm took a tumble for the worst now. I am certain I'll recover, but at the moment the transfer window looks less appealing for me.
Nonetheless, thank you very much for the tremendous work done by the team behind the DB!

All due respect, but especially smaller nations rely heavily on user suggestions, and your suggestions came five days ago without any stats attached, after the thread has been up for three and a half months. There's only so much roturn and jph can do there. For what it's worth, maybe there's a chance they can still be included before transfers if you provide reasonable stats (not in my power to decide though), or else they could be included next year at a higher XP level so they're not completely lost

Indeed feel free to keep rider suggestions coming. Still adding to the db till the transfers at the moment.
As cunego said, for smaller Nations I can`t add without proper stat suggestions. jph has collected those and listed them for me with stats to be added.
I am now able to do some more suggestions myself but obviously can`t check for stats myself and will need the help of each manager. |
