Not much from the BraIsoMinions so far, but luckily the stakes are low. Hopefully we'll get some breakaway action going soon. Interesting to see not a single time gap on a finish like this as well.

Cool to see Idar Andersen still defending his top 5, after that amazing prologue.
Also promising to see Halland Johannesen active in breakaways making him now a real contender for the polkadot jersey.
Thank you for the great reports so far Abhi! |

Well, Schmid is already showing Hirschi how it's done - expected that in 3 years maybe, but definitely won't refuse a podium spot!
Valter however way too strong for everyone else today.

No time gaps, consider that a success. Valter on fire.

Made it through another flat stage unscathed. Hopefully we can show ourselves tomorrow in the mountains.

I'm looking forward to that stage 6. Not because I have anyone capable of doing anything, but it's always intruiging to see the stars of tomorrow.

Now that the sprint stages are finally over it's time to see what Phodingam can do in the mountains! |

So close to a stage win for Thijssen to reward the team for the lead-out but couldn’t quite do it. Unfortunate but after the awful result on the first sprint stage I can’t be too unhappy with 3rd and 2nd. Shows good promise for him in the future!

Well Rodenberg has decided that sprinting just isn't for him. Why is one of the best sprinters in the race, with one of the best leadouts, completely absent? |

I appreciate Lagane is making an effort, give him another year of experience and he'll figure out how to time his sprint better.

YES! Halland Johannessen takes all the bonus seconds from the break and advances in the GC!

Nice to see Forssell sprinting, and happy with a top 10 from him. Wish Cannister had made it in the BotD after trying, but no harm there since it was caught easily.

Most important thing today was not to lose time, and I guess we did well. Now let's get the real racing started!
Too bad that leadouts really fail at all levels, even in U23... A shame that Philipsen couldn't do anything useful

Big win from Pog which was to be expected. Huge gap back to the Peloton essentially ruling out some riders from the GC right!
Personally happy to see Sam get into the breakaway and win an intermediate sprint. Showing good fighting spirit is all I can ask for from a Stagiare!

Check out Nathan Alexander hanging in there. 6th on the day and up to 4th GC. Excellent stage from him, and Norbert making both breakaways.
