Mission accomplished, we got a mention in the race report.
Much more selective stage than I was expecting.

Weird tactics from EBH but at least he (and Poljanski) did not lose time and gained places in the GC.

Wow, that's a great move! If my sprinters are delivering less than what I'd expect from them, Moscon is definitely scoring more points that what you'd expect from a 79Hi rider - but when he's positioned well enough, it's hard to shake him off even in selective stages. Still, he surely was on a great day to ride away like this - only thing I'd complain about is that he celebrated too early hence giving away a potential time gap - but those aren't frequent in those finishes anyway. Good job!
Thanks for the report, red!

Can we just leave the race like this?

Nothing spectacular for us, but Spilak remains in the first group and moves uo in the GC, which is good. Affonso in eighth is very nice, but he should drop soon.
Thanks for the great report, red!

Yeesh, I knew Rosskopf would lose time, I had hoped for less than 5'30 though. Top 20 is the goal now, which won't be easy but tomorrow looks slightly more suited to him. Still wish I would have brought Uwi here, but not sure where I could have shed the race days for it.
I assume now you're happy we didn't?

Our near total lack of visiblity is obviously a political statement against Britains colonial past - and nothing to do with the fact our riders suck

Nice one from Gesink would be cool if he can bring the GC lead over the line. |

Stage 3 lived up to expectations of being more puncheur friendly, but good to see Dunbar up there. Stage 4 though, what a wonderful performance! So happy to see him doing well. Bobridge is a beast and Izagire and Gesink are scary riders but the podium seems very open still - all it takes is one having a bad
/extremely good day and it’s a different story. Henao up there in the stage is certainly a surprise though, as is how far behind EBH fell.
Thanks for the report and congrats Gustav!

Really bad day by Moscon, no clue what happened to him there. The lack of support might have been a factor, but he should still not be that far behind...
Well, hoping for a breakaway appearance then, and maybe a second good stage result along with a good placing in the green jersey competition.
Have we actually brought a team here?
Congrats to Gustav, must feel great after a rather mediocre season by Gesink so far.

Focus on Poljanski, perhaps not the worst call to make here but Eddy was slightly ahead in the GC. If Pavel can stay in the top 10 it's fine.

Who's this Robert guy?
Yes, yes, but can we really end it now?
Thanks for the nice words, everyone!

We'll see in the next and final stage if Spilak coming back for Affonso was the right decision. Very unlucky puncture, but nice to finish seventh from him. Congratulations on the great win Gustav! And thanks for another great report, red

So, Rosskopf just giving up on himself completely with that 108th place I see? Bit of a bummer to see him drop to 26th after a promising first few stages. But Perera's opening stage win makes this still a success for us. Congrats Aidan for the nice stage win and 2nd GC, and congrats Gustav for the overall win!
Thanks for the great reports througout red

Poljanski lucky not to get gapped there but tenth place is a very good result, especially as 'the other guy' failed again. Kudos to Vansevenant for third in the U25.
Thanks for the reports redordead and congrats Gustavovskiy

It seemed like the right decision indeed
Without Affonso Spilak probably would have jumped into the top-10 himself, with possibly a strong stage result here or there, but now he still managed to finish 12th, which is also decent. Affonso dropping two places is not ideal, but he didn't look very strong today, so it's acceptable. Definitely when looking at the strong riders around him in the top-10 GC. By far his best performance of the year, returning to ISA-Hexacta with a (little) bang.
Nice stage win for Bobridge, congratulations to P:A. Also a superb GC win from Gesink, fully deserved for Mr. Gustav. Thanks for five fantastic reports as always, red!

*sigh*
Just don't get how Moscon was so bad the last two days. Really disappointing GC result. And I especially don't get why the team was obviously helping with the chase all day long, just to get nothing at all from it. Really stupid tactics today - and almost all race long I'd say. Sucks.
Congrats to Gustav on the well deserved GC win, and to P:A on the stage win!
And thanks to red for the reports.

Congrats to P:A, Bobridge on another level here. And congrats to Gustav, what a win from Gesink! Goh doing alright too is good to see.
Eddie with a great race and actually bettering his 4th place GC form last season is amazing! White jersey and all too. So happy with that. Phondigam was really strong all race too surprisingly.
Thanks so much for the reports red!

Not the final result we wanted as Fraile fell a bit further than I would have hoped for but its still points on the board but Fraile has been worse than I expected this year.
Congrats to Gustav for the win with Gesink, should be one of his last big results!
