First race where Penasa really has shown he belongs in this field. Good stuff to ride the attritional race and be in a podium position for the time being. Hope I haven't jinxed it. Really important that we do well here.
Congrats to the winners on the first two stages and thanks for the reports

Warchol’s career as a GC rider not starting well at all, what the hell was that? Weird that the group behind Moldova man was mostly riders that have underperformed so far this season, and the big boys like Oomen, Monsalve and Welens were all behind them seemingly doing sweet f a. Tomorrow can’t be any worse surely.
Congrats fj and thanks for the report lls!

Alarcon was solid on stage 1, but as expected he suffered on stage 2 with his bad energy stats. We won't get the GC spot we were hoping for and Gilanipoor and Pogacar aren't gonna add depth. Gotta hope for a lucky breakaway now.
Congrats to the winners.

That was a real disaster of an opening stage, with all my hopes of Laengen doing a positive GC out the window. Felt like our first zero points race for the season!
Seeing the start of stage 2, I got hopeful again, at least we're trying to salvage something. Early on the final climb then, and disappointment struck again as it looked like Laengen was nowhere near his potential. Then great to see him battle back and claim second on the stage. That's definitely something, eventhough the win would have been great. Though, Ndayisenga was clearly stronger, which is fair. Congratulations on the win, cunego!
Also fun to follow the GC battle. Pluchkin is dominant, but behind him it's very entertaining. |

Congrats to cunego! I guess Ndayisenga heard your advice about the most likely path to points.
Thank you, and thanks everyone else for the congratulations. Perfect setup and execution by the team. Moise Mugisha probably helped big time in getting the big advantage (and then to hold on for 11th?! Wild!) and then Ndayisenga held his guns at first only to then time his efforts perfectly to take the win.
Huge result for us here, and I'm so happy that Ndayisenga works as well as he does in PCT. Second in the KoM rankings, too. Hopefully, he'll attack on stage 4 or 5 to compete for the win there. Now for Perera to shine, maybe ...?

Not the best Uran, but he's still in a favorable position with the TT still to come.

Valens! Congrats Cunego
Fairly decent start for us. Denifl and Bongiorno not doing exceptional, but better than guys like Keizer and Shikai for now. Both seem set for top 20.
Hopefully we get even luckier with a stage win from a breakaway and that’s probably the most realistic avenue for a result.

Bullocks, should have chosen stage 2 to go on the attack.
Great stage to follow! Complete domination yet again from Ploosh, congrats fj. Congrats as well cunego, brilliant win from NDayisenga.
Great reports too LLS, thanks again!

Great, now Manarelli is beaten by guys with 65 sprint
Nice to see Ulloa in the attack, one of the guys on my team who really shows himself in the breakaway from time to time. Too bad there are almost never cobbles on the road when he attacks, because he's clearly not at the same level of most other attackers uphill/on the flat. We got three more stages to score (not counting the time trial), so hopefully we find a way to do so!
Congratulations on the win to Duolingo, and thanks for another nice report to LLS

Bouglas in the top 20, so he was apparently in the vicinity of sprinting, but decided against it. Not really a problem for us. Happy everyone important got through okay.
Congrats to Gustav, and thanks for the report!

Mareczko making up some of the points Oomen lost, that's good at least.

Congrats gustav! Suryadi making sure we don’t leave with a fat 0 here, if only the race was another 100m he might have snuck through that gap. Oh well, he’ll have another chance. Thanks for the report LLS!

Huh, didn't expect us to do a leadout here. Worked out somewhat okay I suppose, 5th is fine. Maybe Perera can get a podium on the second sprint stage. Congrats Gustavovsky!

Perfectly happy for that to be a nothingburger stage given we're already in a great position. We'll see if there's any shakeup tomorrow, or if everyone's just waiting for the TT now. Congrats to Maxime!
