Safe through and everything to play for going into the two decisive stages. Couldn't ask for more! |

Breakaway win on the first flat stage. Interesting! Wouldn't be happy if I brought a sprinter here, but as a couple others have said, the fact that it's so rare makes it not a bad thing that it's possible imo.
Bouglas would have scored a few points had the pack made the catch, so he did his job I suppose. Top 10 again, non scoring though so meaningless. He's done about as well as I would hope for a 50k tertiary sprinter, but he'll have bigger opportunities later in the season still...
Guldhammer was towards the front and protected, so hopefully that's a good sign. Like in Romandie, we want to make the most of our hills prowess tomorrow.

Muller, my guy!! Would not have expected him to be allowed in the breakaway. I hope he can hold on a bit. Thinking the last stage is not excessively mountainous, top 10 would be a dream come true with the team we sent here, but this result makes the race a success no matter what. Thank you LLS!

Another chance for Latour to shine. With such stacked field it won´t be an easy task, though. Good to see him attentive in opening flat stage.
Thanks LLS for report.

Interesting stage, shame for Mannien though.
Suryadi doing ok and Bart and Edson well placed.
Thanks for the report!

Well, I didn't see this coming. But this change in the outcome of a race is welcomed.
A shame Rojas couldn't stick to the breakaway, but he still put up a good show and snatched some bonus seconds along the way which left him 5th in the GC. It will not last but it's a good moral boost for his young career.
Thank you for the report and congratulations Team UBS! |

This could be a difficult stage race to shine on for us, but I'm hoping Min can at least go for the U25 classification.
Surprising first stage there with a breakaway win. Jealous of that one. Congrats Bushwackers!

That’s a weird time loss for Muller. 80hil and falls behind that far in yellow? How strange.
Congrats Fab, awesome win from Moscon.
Warchol safe and well, Dunbar deciding he couldn’t be arsed. Tomorrow should be good fun.
Thanks for the report LLS! Appreciate how much you’ve been doing lately.

Seen this earlier for riders that joined the breakaway the day before. Apparently recovery here hurts them a lot.
Never really saw it that extreme on day 2 and more often in 2nd or 3rd week of GTs but similar cases nevertheless.
Or maybe it was just a weird split despite yellow jersey advantage and with 2 others in front, no one worked for him as GC wise it didn`t matter? |

Kump top fav two stages in a row and we get fuck all from it. Well this run of race days spent on Kump is looking disastrous and will put a serious dent into our 1st place standings goal that's for sure.
Thanks for the report. For the first time I am the one with questions to the pcm AI most others I have been able to understand but this race has made 0 sense to me.

Congrats to Fabianski! Team seemed to work very well for it, and Moscon's aggressiveness on the final climb paid off well.
Guldhammer was at the front the whole time and attentive. 5th place is a nice stage result, and it gives us 4th overall on countback. But obviously I wanted to gain some time here, at least a little. We're now even with a whole lot of pure climbers, any of which could definitely beat Rasmus on a good day. So we could end up anywhere from 1st to 15th after tomorrow. It will be interesting to see how it goes for sure.

Why is it that is our leaders who get selectively dropped in some stage in almost every PCT mountain or hilly stage race? Happened often last time we were in PCT and is happening almost regularly again now? Surely my team building can't be that bad? Weaker riders seem to hang on perfectly fine.
We're going down for sure, no two ways about it anymore. Not a single race where we get the luck of PCM! A bit tiring now.

That's a very, very good hilly stage from Galta! Positive surprise to see him in that 28 riders group after his difficult time in Romandie.
Also good to see us have Amezawa up in the group. Will be interesting to see how the AI handles our dual threat. Hopefully one of them wakes up with a big daily form! |

Definitely a special race so far. Some stage points are always welcome, although in the ideal scenario Spilak could have taken some (bonus) seconds today. Hopefully he feels the same tomorrow, as that could lead to a gc podium. Go go Spili! Congratulations to Jura and thanks for another report to LLS

Nice and quiet from Min. Let's see what happens in the short mountain stage.
Congrats on the win, Fab!

Congrats to Fabianski and thanks to LLS for your tireless efforts reporting the races.
Interesting that my GC contender Arndt finished in the first group and my three star favourite Bilbao was in the second group despite being in the front group with 5.5km to go.
Hope Arndt can over perform in stage 3 and get our season back on track.

Frankiny, lame
This race definitely could have gone better for Los Pollos, but some teams/riders are worse off. Congratulations on the win to Sauber, and thanks a lot for the great reports again to LLS

First off all congrats to Fabianski on winning stage 2
Beltran either didn't have his best day or simply waited too long to make his move. He also didn't have the team support I expected him to have on the final climb.
That last stage was quite nerve wracking and exciting
So many riders went on the attack. Beltran played a smart, but risky game by not following any of the moves. He did use his strengths though as the best finisher among the favourites and really went for it in the end. Maybe if he went a bit earlier he could've won it all, but Frankiny was on a great day and he deserves this for his brave ride
Better team performance today with Vysna seemingly there supporting Beltran in the latter parts of the stage. Nice to see him score his first points with a minor GC placing
Beltran with two 2nd places, 2nd on GC and his 3rd points jersey of the season is a marvelous return
He goes on a deserved two month break now, so we need to somehow hold down the fort without him and Saber. Gaudu keeps our U25 scoring streak alive with a couple pts and all in all 4th in team classification doesn't give pts, but a nice result for a mainly puncheur setup.
That stage 1 was a bit of a let down, but the next two stages were very exciting. Great job on the reports LLS

Great Report, big one for Frankiny. Also loving how Beltran works his magic this year.
