Unreal how all of my players in both my leagues are injured every season. Maybe I just have to start picking at random? Pretty sure cunego rolls me this week and goes on to take the crown this year

After we went on a real second half of the season run, tonight's loss pretty much ends the outside shot we had at a comeback.
Missing Rodgers, Kamara, Swift, and Waller, I knew this week was gonna be very tough. But then Williams and Johnson played out of their minds and gave us a shot, despite everyone else on my team underperforming their projections.
Alas, Jakobi Meyers could not score a single percentage of a point tonight, and we fall to 6-7 with a two point loss. If he had done literally anything, we might have won and tied for the playoff spot (still behind in the tiebreaker, but with a chance). But I gues you can make what if's up for any player on any team.
Next year.

For example, Thielen going out injured on 1pt this week. So the Meyers non-score somewhat balances out in this contest.
As you said this result puts a 2-game gap between us and yourselves, with 2 games to play. It's still possible to sneak in so don't give up completely just yet.
At least our division is providing some competitive drama, unlike the other division which has been settled for weeks

Somewhat same here, I also lost by 1.7 points and Kendrick Bourne scored 0.3 Then again, I ended up with 82 total, so I can't be mad to lose this week. Expectedly, with 3 guys on Byes, 2 on IR and 2 inactive, and I've locked up the playoffs for a while now, so no big deal. But the last 2 weeks weren't that great either, so I wouldn't mind picking up some steam now. Still, I'm about as confident as you can be in Fantasy moving forward, which is to say, not a lot, but better than nothing

It's the Playoffs!
I'm very happy with the regular season in the end. We rallied around to record a 10-5 record and claim myself another Divisional title. Managed to keep a fairly healthy team together after the opening couple of weeks decimated some of my draft choices.
Because of scheduling, being forced to opt for Foreman in the Flex slot, instead of Theilen/Reynolds just to make sure i at least start a player who'll participate.
Should be a very close game vs Cunego. I need Patterson to get back in redzone form & hope the Ravens do throw a lot towards Brown.

Not great to go into the playoffs having lost 4 out of the last 5, but it speaks to our early season performance that making the playoffs was still never in doubt. I hope Lamar can play, as I don't trust Huntley to have another performance like he did last week, and hopefully Damien Harris is fit, RB is a bit thin with Hubbard not performing great.
I kinda like my chances in the semis, but both of us have so many players who could explode for 35 games or end up with just 10 that it's tough to predict.

Oh so nearly snuck into the playoffs after a 1-7 start. One could argue the greatest comeback ever.

Not the worst time to jump back into form with a 190 point performance Hope my guys left something in the tank for next week though. After losing the finale two years ago and the match for 3rd last year, I would really like to end this one with a win, especially after I lost the semis in my other league by less than 2 points. See you next week Alesle!

Well, that didn't work out, did it? Zeke and AJ Brown let me down big time, Harris' injury didn't help and Huntley wasn't able to cover for Lamar's injury like he did two weeks ago. Oh well. Still a very fun season, congrats Alesle on the win, can't say it isn't deserved considering the consistency throughout the regular season as well. And thanks as always to jseadog for hosting Might do an indepth review of the squad later.

Very competitive season, a lot of teams around .500. After a terrible start, I'm satisfied to have salvaged a top half finish. Congrats to Alesle, and thanks for running this again jdog!

Worked hard to turn a bad team post draft into a Division winner. Ultimately too many injuries and covid cases burned us out in the playoffs (maybe this was karma for dropping Wilson!), but we did pretty well all things considered to end up 4th.

Thanks all.
Obviously very happy with how the season went, particularly after forgetting to join the league last season.
I was a bit unsure if the team would hold up after Henry went down in week 8, but the rest of the lineup came through. Having Chase record the 5th highest single game PPR score of all time in the final was obviously very lucky, otherwise it could have been a very close final.
As others have said, thanks to jseadog1 for organising the league again. |
