It's already been 10 years. You always had a kind heart and it's always been nice to have you around. (weird coming from a guy, who's not been around for a long time)
I will not forget the time, when you commentated the pcmdaily.com rFactor league. Was just a short time, but it was still very nice of you.
I think I'm maybe also already over 6 years or so here. Need to check.
Edit: Apparently time flies and I also signed up 10 years and 3 days ago.

Always good to hear from you, mate Know that you're missed around here as well, but from your previous updates, it sounds like you're doing well out there, which I'm happy about, too

Thanks Ian, really means a lot coming from you! You left your mark on this community, and it still benefits from it. Hope you're doing well and continue to check in once in a while!
Also, I know a lot of time has passed, and I felt weird replying before, but thank you to everyone else who posted for the kind words. This community really is special.
In reply to Roturn - I remember getting a warning when I first joined, I think from SN, because I was constantly bumping really old threads that hadn't had any discussion in months. I also had a habit of replying angrily to spambots, which you informed me actually made it more difficult to get of them.

Photobucket emailed me today to let me know that they're deleting my account unless I pay them monthly. Sure others have receieved similar. This isn't the first time they've threatened and cut off features. Obviously I'm not paying them, which means my old stories and MG reports will be lost to time. It's really unfortunate, but I'm not lettign them extort from me.
First they limited how you could embed photos, then made embedding impossible, then limited the amount you could store and deleting excess, then starting blurring the photos in your library so you couldn't even view them, and now they're just deleting your account. And the cost to keep those features is expensive now, but it was truly exhorbinant before. I think once they asked me to pay $400 a year.
I have never seen a company so obviously and intentionally destroy its business and userbase. No idea what they were thinking. Obviously I understand that their servers cost money, and maybe the free model wasn't working. But this clearly wasn't the answer.

At one point I found a way to download all original image files from my Photobucket account in one go - might have been a Chrome plug in.
I seem to have had emails every few days from them recently. Will carry on ignoring them.

Just dropping by to say work is very busy at the moment, working 12+ hours a day consistently for the past couple of months. So haven't very active outside of absolutely necessary activities here. Still open Daily and follow MG and all other stuff I'm a part of, and that won't change. Luckily I had built up a good lead with RTG reporting and still haven't caught up to that. Unfortunately, I'm not able to contribute much to MG at the moment and don't think I will be able to keep my HQ updated this time either.
Hopefully, things settle down over the holidays and I can catch back up again. Great to see a lot of activity on the site at the moment too

Not sure what the plan is for site awards this year of if anyone's thought about it. I know they were ssaved the last couple of years as activity has decreased.
Just wanted to say that I have a couple of almost free weeks now, and I'd be happy to help with or even run the awards if need be. I'd just have to start right after Christmas so I could get the majority of the work done before my next semester starts, hence why I'm posting now.

Good point. Thought about this already and indeed knockout, jandal, Abhishek and I can't jump in this year again as we did the last couple of years. Would be cool if we find a couple of people that can do the necessary work.

I can do the signature bars for the winners again and could also help out in other ways, maybe collecting and tallying nominations, or whatever else is necessary.
