1) Happy to secure Russ for another year & "Hollywood" Herbert as back-up. Gives me good week-to-week flexibility with what i firmly believe are two of the Top10 QBs in the league.
2) I didn't know about Dobbins, so obviously that pick was a waste. But luckily i'm happy bringin back Jones/Mckissic/White from previous seasons with Taylor as well. Will rely on some overperformances again from Mckissic & White but as i focus on WR's in fantasy it's not a massive loss.
3) Bit of a gamble here, probably my weakest WR set in years. Thielen i'm hoping bounces back to his RedZone threat best. Diggs should again be the man in Buffalo. Shepard & Sutton are gambles but both are in prime position to be team #1s, and i think the Denver man could be a Top5 overall WR with Bridgewater throwing deep to him.
4) Kyle Pitts might be an awesome pick. If he can translate his college versatility and threat to the NFL then i could be looking at a player on par with Kittle/Kelce. Or he could bomb at a higher level in a stacked ATL offence. I've loved Ertz look in pre-season, and he seems to have a real connection with Hurts. Basically i'm hoping i've snagged two of the Top7/8 TEs.
5) Butker is Butker, he'll get plenty of PAT's and he's incredibly solid at any range FG. Super solid kicker, happy there. Dolphins D i'm excited for, especially with 4 games vs Pats & Jets & their schedule should result in good points.
Overall i'm relatively happy with the Draft. Couple of gambles in a boom-or-bust set-up. At least if we bust early i get a good waiver position to make changes

I also like my roster. Born Tua Be Wild of course with Tua as the back-up WB. A solid core of players but historically I haven't drafted very well.
I think something is wrong with NFL's draft client. It kept saying I wasn't in the draft but I was definitely in the draft

I took some risks by going pretty weak on RBs, with only Zeke, Damien Harris and Hunt, which I don't feel super great about. On the other hand, I don't think anyone can match Adams, AJ Brown and ARob as the Top 3 receivers, plus there's a ton of upside on my bench with Fuller, Jeudy, Samuel and Pittman, all potentially the No1 receivers of their team. And then Lamar at QB can always be a point scoring machine, and I love the stack with Andrews at TE, with Bateman out and Hollywood Brown very shaky in camp especially. And once Fields starts, I feel like he could be another legit Top 5 scoring QB to either trade or complement Lamar.
RB could come back to bite me, but if the Patriots commit to Harris as RB1, or if something were to happen to Chubb, I think I'm in really good shape. And if not, there's always the waiver wire to find this year's James Robinson, I guess

Talk about a shot in the heart. I am now 1-3 because Julio Jones was ruled out and I didn't realize it until after kickoff. Otherwise, I would have started D. Smith and won to go 2-2. Guess I need to check the team directly before kickoff from now on.

I only go for lifetime standings in the prediction game. I don't know enough about current football to have any shot. For the last 3-4 years I've been msotly picking randomly or based on who was good in like 2013. This year I tried to go mostly for the bookies' favorites and I've done even worse.
Give me an MLB or NHL prediction game and I might have a shot.

TMM only needs to beat you by 2 points this year to take over 2nd place all time so you better catch up

This Fantasy season is going to be long and frustrating... but i'm making progress with the players and hopefully now have a decent set-up to go forwards.
I wish the news Ridley was going to be out came sooner, it was too late for me to sub Pitts back in. And the same with Sutton being cleared fully fit, so i couldn't put him back in. That's 50points surrendered to annoying timings this week. But hopefully now means both will push on and start reaching their potential for the season.
The flip side to that bad luck, picked the perfect week to swap Herbert in for Wilson! Thought Donald et al of the Rams would be on a 5+ sack/INT week, instead they broke his finger (also thank god the NHL season is just about to start & Sounders are again in the MLS playoffs so i still have some American sport to enjoy).
But this is why even if you have bad draft or poor couple of weeks you stick with playing, as you really can turn it around! Hopefully going forwards Lets Get Kraken can now be a reasonable competitive team and fight our way back to the playoffs!
[this now means both Thielen & Diggs will go down injured this week and Patterson gets traded to the Texans]

I am single handily responsible for being 1-4 for the 3rd straight year. Cook for MIN was out and I again did not know until last minute. If I have Dillon, my other RB in, I beat sosososik by less than a point.
I would be 3-2 if my management skills were what they were years ago. Just when you think you have a wake up call....
The East belongs to Alesle and cunego59.
The West is being ran by madzdaman and TMM but is much more up for grabs than in years past.
The Americans are all 1-4

87 points in week 1 were really scary, but 220 this week kinda made up for that Although 2 of what I thought would be 3 elite receivers (ARobinson and AJ Brown) are pretty disppointing so far, others have stepped up big time, particularly Hunt and Deebo Samuel, plus Davante, Lamar and Mark Andrews all live up to their potential mostly, and the Bills Defense feels like the Patriots Defense from 2 years ago. I'm not super optimistic just yet, but 4 wins in a row do feel good.

Here we are with myself and Mre battling for the toilet seat award for worst team.
There has been consistency at the top over the past few weeks and it will be interesting to see if they can be dethroned as the playoffs linger.

3 viable WR replacements on the bench and the guy I start, who had no injury designation this week at all, is surprisingly inactive an hour before game time, while I'm afk. Can't catch a break this year.
