Seems like you got most terrains covered, if we think of Kump as a puncheur as well, as he should be able to survive some of those hilly (C1) races as well, then sprinting to a possible victory on the flatter end. In general a lot of depth, which is always nice, that should make you one of the guys with nice chances of promoting back to PCT again  Also really like the jersey!

RECORD BREAKING CT CHAMPIONS
While I knew that the team that I was able to build was an insane team, breaking the 3k barrier in team standings was beyond my wildest imagination, and doing it without winning the individual title, Kump only came in second, is honestly something that I am very proud of. I have always been a solid CT team builder, I know what is needed and this season just proved to have some exceptional circumstances with me keeping Kump , being able to sign Elissonde on 100k and some other bits and bubs that helped me string together this crazy season. I can't wait for the next season in PCT to see if third time is the charm and I will be able to finally string together consecutive PCT seasons to build on.

We more or less maxed out our goals for this season this came at the cost of only scoring 3/5 goals as while GVK put up another incredible performance on the CT cobbles he couldn't win on his home turf in Gerardsbergen and only scored a podium, which is still akin of a goal achieved. He did absolutely smash GP Kigali to secure that one and in Lillestrom we didnt even manage a top 5 as Puccio was our best placed cobbler coming in at 6th place. Vancouver was a success story with Elissonde securing second place in the GC and with that smashing the top 5 goal, and as previously discussed team standings goal was never in danger after we started the second half of the season, where Aramco started to fade a bit but still produced an absolutely cracking season!
Again another big round of thanks must be handed out to everyone involved in running the game, cna't wait for more!

Congrats on your stellar season! Your team did a fantastic job, and it's definitely a great one to look at for getting some ideas about how to proceed as a relegating team 
I admit that I often regretted during the season that I couldn't find the money to afford Kump - I'm pretty sure that having him instead of Reinhardt would've kept us up. But it was definitely a great season for him - maybe the last one, given the next round of decline looming

Ye obviously it's a bit sad for you that you couldnt find the money Kump, but that's MG afterall I have also relegated from PCT because I couldnt find that last bit of cash for riders that would help me with my scoring.
In terms of decline and last season etc. I don't think there's a world where Kump doesnt get a contract, considering that riders like McEvoy still perform relatively well, but most likely not a top prospect any more.

Thank you! I really do hope that I can do better in PCT, would like to not yoyo for a once and build a relatively stable core that I can work with but with a rebuild needing three PCT level leaders that is going to be one tough task with a squad with very few riders of an value.
I have some major fears about Kump's performance modifier which will likely be through the roof, but we will see. I have failed in the past of giving riders that didnt deserve it a contract on a decline cough Tyler Farrar cough
Thanks mate, likewise really looking forward to get back into PCT and hopefully not squander it away another time, like I have done in the past!

A Kump-tastic season Part 1
There's no two ways about it, Marko Kump had an absolute blast of a season this year crowned with a second place finish in the individual CT standings. Let's take a look at how he achieved this feat.
 GP Izola

Kump's first outing of the season took place at the C1 Tour of Southland, a race that ended up being perfectly suited for the Slovenian legend's strengths as a rider. Despite losing sprints to weaker sprinters like Bouhanni on stage 1 he managed to not lose any time on the tougher stages and walked away with a very lovely 2nd place in the GC.

Kump's second outing saw him take his home soil of Slovenia by storm! In a race that ended up being relatively selective, Kump won the reduced bunch sprint ahead of McEvoy. A fantastic win for the national champion to be showing off his national colours in the best way possible!
Nakshon, Lisbon Classic & Tour of Chile
Two very uneventful races that saw Kump being matched by stronger sprinters and finishing in 11th & 12th. Still some okay showings but nothing that really was going to go down in history.
The most disappointing race in this trio was Tour of Chile, Kump being the main favourite on the two first stages meant we were expecting some great results, however that was not going to be the case, a breakaway win on stage 1 and a stage two that ended up being more of a GC fight instead meant that we left Chile relatively dissapointed.
After a relatively long race break Kumpi returned in our new home race of Frankfurt Eschborn, and what a return! A triumphant performance all through the final of the race, where he had to close down the break and still managed to sprint his way to a victory.
Tour of Japan, Torshavn GP & Betonexpress
Tour of Japan was not a major succes outside of a single second place sprint finish from Kump on stage one as well as a top 5 on the last stage. Kump had to go to Torshavn to reclaim his title after winning last year's edition, however he failed miserably so ending up in 20th place.
At Betonexpress we saw a bit more life from the Slovenian however he faded in the sprint after being set up well, which ended up in a 4th place finish.

Benelux challenge was a great experience for the team with Riesebeek pulling a one in a million GC result.
Another interesting result involving Kump was the situation on stage 4 where he, Thwaites and GVK finished 4th,5th,6th as a happy little family. Lastly Kump took 3rd place on the final stage securing the green jersey, capping out an amazing Benelux Challenge for the team.

Renewals with a leader on his second decline after winning the Continental division last year was never going to be easy. Early on in our renewals we ran into a lot of hurdles with a lot of overperformers wanting obscene wages leading to Kump having to go. The former World Champion has been a massive part of the team in the past two seasons and we won't deny that he could make a comeback to the team after the end of transfers but with the wage he was looking for we decided that it was better for him to discover what free agency has to offer.
Vingerling was a revelation last year in the CT and performed incredibly well for his 55k wage finishing 20th in the individual rankings. He has now been left to discover free agency. Draft picks Battaglin & Redecker have also been released with the former declining and the latter declining our offer. Russian Sprinter Stash who scored a whole 10 points last year also decided to pursue other avenues after seeing our initial offer. Puccio & Diaz were both great secondary leaders in their terrains last year but with decline hitting they've been let go and are able to discover their options. With loanees leaving we're left with 9 riders, let's take a look at the riders staying on for another year.
Starting at the top, Elissonde's wage is starting to calibrate to the expected levels after a top 5 performance in the individual standings last year. It was a tough negotiation but the French climber's new wage of a 160k is more than acceptable despite being a 60k increase. GVK is another rider with an increase the Belgium cobbler produced one of his greatest seasons to date scoring a massive 401 points on the CT cobbles and sees himself with a wage of 130k, a 30k increase which we are very satisfied with.
Our final re-signed captain for this year is Potocki. The Croatian stage racer had a massive year last time around scoring 308 points which amounted to a 16th placement in the individual rankings he sees his wage jump to 82k which is a solid wage for a stage racer of his caliber as he this year moves into a lieutenant role if transfers goes our way, however he will still be able to ride his own chances when possible. Elsewhere two other signings from last year has gone down in wage: Riesebeek had a very strong year with a great GC finish in Benelux Challenge & a stage win in the Tour of America, despite these results the former Evonik rider has accepted a salary cut and will now be on 75k for the coming season. Thwaites
transfers in with Potocki and despite having to play second fiddle a lot last year he scored over 100 points in the CT. He has agreed to a wage cut to 69k, nice, which is very nice for a rider of his caliber. De Vos, Gaspar & Kumara have all been given a 5k increase in wage as a promotion bonus. Heymes continues to be solid part of our stage race team on 50k.
This leaves us with just 9 riders ahead of the transfer season, that is bound to be a busy one.

Your riders increases were inevitable, but all of Elissonde, GVK and Potocki are still on really competitive wages - it looks like you'll have three cut-price point scorers for PCT and a decent foundation to build on. Throw a couple of leaders in the mix and you'll have a really fun team.

Agree with Eden. This is a very solid base to have coming up to PCT. Obviously you still need leaders, but the renewals were good. Even with the raises to Elissonde and GVK, they should be more than worth their salaries. You've definitely done well to trim the fat and keep your transfer options wide open as well. Should be a very exciting window for you!

I 100% feel like this is the strongest base I have promoted with into the PCT. Really happy with the wage of Elissonde still, compared to the 260k(?) you had him for two years ago when you outbid me. GVK and Potocki won't score massive amounts of points in PCT I fear but should still be good for a nice chunk between them if they don't end up getting thrown into a trade! Finding leaders have been my issue in my past two tries, last time around I had Kump but couldn't close another PCT level leader sadly.

Indeed very solid wages. I am super excited about the transfer window ahead especially since the fat has been trimmed to the extent that it has, I have no deadwood only riders with a purpose!

I agree that he has a great season in him and I think that a lot of teams out there could really use his services as a secondary leader, however with our leadership situation being very shaky atm it was impossible for us to go higher for him that we did in renewals!

Wow think this was a good renewals for you looking at least at the riders that stayed - not convinced that Kump wouldn't have been worth what he asked for considering how well Houle has done on incredibly similar stats for me in years past.

I think you have every chance for a successful PCT season with all the resources at your disposal

I think in hindsight it might have been worth trying to go a bit further for Kumpi but I didnt expect FA to pan out as weak as it has to be honest. I do agree that renewals on the riders I kept on were pretty good tho!

For this transfer window our main priority is to keep our core together as most of the riders present very strong depth options at the PCT level. I believe that all of these riders are on incredibly attractive wages but some could come up in a trade or should good offers come across my desk. Only one is 100% for sale would be Thwaites who I see as a strong scoring option in CT when given the freedom that lacked a lot of last year often being forced to ride for Kump/GVK/Vingerling. As any PCT team we're looking to take on a couple of loan ins, whether that is to get wage off of your bill or not we can make most things work as is. And let me make this clear since I know that there are a lot of French teams, Elissonde is a no fly zone for you unless you come in with an offer in the 2 million range most likely.
