Movistar seemed to have reach an agreement with Lopez to terminate his contract.

Aranburu, Oscar Rodriguez, and the Izagirres are expected to go the other way round. Ivan Sosa should also join Movistar too. |

Lopez just goes back to Astana and it's all normal again.

Word is he will be joined by Dombrowski there next year.
Tom Dumoulin broke his wrist after being hit by a car during training. End of season for him, incredible the run of bad luck this guy has, with all those motivation issues from late last year. Looked quite good at the Benelux Tour. :/ |

"Now I’m suddenly sorry that the Tour of Guangxi in China has been cancelled.”
Brutal.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Well, that's just a poor translation of a Flemish proverb

It's honestly such a shame that Lefevre is such a knobhead considering that QS has been one of my favourite teams in the peloton for my entire life at his points.

This one's on Bennett though. He's been claiming injuries for several months now, then he goes to ride 7 kilometers in the European Championships just to avoid the legal 50% paycutt he should get after such a long injury.

As muddied as Lefevre may sound in his words, I very much imagine this to be a case of spoiled child Bennett not understanding he's an employee at the end of the day. A very well-paid, famous employee, sure, but an employee. Insane he can climb on a bike just to turn the pedals and pretend he should receive his salary

I am actually really curious to hear Bennett’s side of the story, if there ever will be one. |

Cav staying at home for another year. Not shocking, but I'll be glad to see another year out him

Life sometimes sucks...
Chris Anker Sørensen passed away after being hit by a car, when on a ride in Belgium in preparation of the Worlds for TV2... Far too early. Just 37... |

It is incredibly tragic. Of course, most of all to his wife and kids. But also for the Danish cycling community. The best way to describe Chris Anker's role in Danish cycling is that I would say he is the Danish equivalent of Jens Voigt. He is unique in terms of humor, storytelling and just being this kind of likeable guy in a way where you feel like you know him, even though you only saw him on TV.
He also had a great connection with the active riders who all knew him either from the peloton or from TV.
This will definitely affect the Danish riders at the WC.

Tragic loss for his fanily, friends and the wider cycling scene.
Fuck cars. I see it always when I go for a ride.. many drivers are reckless and inattentive towards cyclists. Such a shame.
