Nah, always falls too short somewhere.
Think WVA will add another silver to his tally. Carapaz might give Ecuador their only third medal at the Olympics. National hero. |

Pogacar beat WVA in a sprint. He was dicking around as usual |

The three strongest on the podium. Feeling sad for Wout though, he is now:
Vice world champion RR
Vice world champion TT
Vice world champion Cyclocross
Vice olympic champion RR
Maybe the TT then?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Are we absolutely sure he isn't related to Poulidor as well?

Carapaz was great and attacking as ever, he caught the right moment and rode it through. wout was incredible strong. i hope he gets gold in the time trial. Most of the chasera were fucking pathethic. Riding for a Top 10 basically when gold and silver still hung in the balance. i am done with gaudu, doesnt pull, attacks then and then immediately decides to let another rider ride front.. truly zero panache.

mcnulty fair rider,i hoped for him to take that silver,so unfortunate
mcnulty worked with anybody when he was in first group, woods nope
usually americans say that canadians are polite,in this race canadian was rude and american fair play
so happy wheel sucking riders didn't got a medal

1 hill too far for McNulty, but I was very happy to even see him in that position. 6th place is better than I hoped for from America. Hopefully this is good form and he can recover quickly. He might have an outside shot at a TT medal if everything goes perfect.

Wout seems to be very appreciative of Poupou too given how he's looking to emulate his run of famous second places

Just finished watching. Great effort from Brandon, had me believing for a while and really attacked the race.
Carapaz a likable and deserving winner.
