Great to see Sepulveda do so well in Chrono des Nations. Although it's worthless, it's our best WC result of the year - and as a C1 race, those are some important prestige points as well. Let's see if he can still deleop a little further - at least Gaviria should be able to do so.

Congratulations to Equinor for promoting to the WT! We're out.
It's frustrating to see Lombardia end in a sprint, and it's even more frustrating that Herklotz was positioned so badly for it.
He could have won it, and to be honest, he should have won it from anywhere within the first 5 spots.
Hoping for a disbandment is never fun.

Phinney underperforming in all long TT, something to think about for next season plan.

Well this concludes our season! Horrible month for us, as Villella was seemingly already thinking about the holiday season and not about scoring crucial points for his team. In the end we might still be able to stay up with a lot of luck but I honestly wouldn't really be able to complain if we do go down, considering these 2 bad last months.
Congrats to all the winners and special to all great reporters!

Damn we really messed up the second half of the season, especially where we were so strong last time! Another really poor result in Lombardia.

Not sure whether to frustrated by the close call in Lombardia or thrilled with 2nd and 3rd. Nairo really should do well but awesome ride for Henao. Kept out of the wind in the 2nd group with his teammate up front then was the last man to bridge across when the groups almost merged. Had enough time to get into position for the sprint and wasn't far from winning. What a way to go out if it is his last race for the team.
Good we did well in our goal race since Paris Tours was a mess and Mullen somehow managed to finish 21st in the Chrono des Nations.
Thanks to the reports and congrats to Barguil

Harrison Adams, fucking finally!
Saving us from a literal 0-pointer there, Runge is useless (crash related?) and one breakaway in 8 stages ain't enough even if that one is as successful as this one.

Gaetan Bille on fire in Colombia!
I haven't checked the last profile stages, but it would be cool to keep the points jersey

Hopefully Gomez can at least go ahead and take a Top 5-10, but with how PCM's AI has worked out so far, I could see it change the designated leader, and us finally getting nothing at all... Definitely NOT the race I was hoping for, especially with such a strong mountains squad.
Why is PCM15 so incredibly yet predictably stupid? It's actually even worse; it didn't replace Gomez as our leader by Mendes, who was decently well ranked, but by Chamorro... Thank you PCM for definitely breaking our season. But even for PCM it's amazing stupidity; I guess I've rarely seen anything worse than this. Sorry for the negativity, but it's really annoying to follow this shitshow in a goal race. Still find it hard to believe how stupid that game can be.

Arredondo enjoys racing on home soil. He fights bravely and it shows in the results so far. The 6th stage was another good one for him, coming 2nd, and right now he is 4th in the GC. He also seems to have some good helpers in Ochoa and del Mar. It's great to see the team fighting hard and doing well. |

Well a great Tour of Colombia so far. Nice win for Sarmiento, and we are leading the U25 and team GC, which will be a good result for one of our goal races if we can hold on.

Sorry for the big rant, it was a bit too much... But if three of your climbers are presented in the Top 8 in the preview, thereof the 2nd best of the peloton, the absolute minimal expectations were a GC Top 5 and Team Top 3. Having the best rider now in 14th and the team in 7th - I just don't get what went wrong. For me, the argument of PCM15 yielding more realistic results than more recent versions definitely doesn't hold. Maybe I'll just skip the long stage races next year, as we weren't really lucky in any of them.

Sorry to see you so frustrated, but I don't think a different PCM version would help here. Also, the race ain't over yet, if Chamorro is on form on stage 10 he could still get a good result.

To be honest I don't know what can I say about your focus race Fabianski... Game sometimes screw people over bad rng. Chamorro losing time in TTT was probably due to him overrelaying as I don't see any other reason. And game very rarely changes roles for race itself too.
Crazy finish to Colombia, posted!

Great to see Ollero in 5th place in the KoM standings. For the main team: TTs are great, the rest isn't. Failing in 3 out of 5 focus races is no good.

What a way to finish our first season! We are absolutely delighted with how things went at Vuelta a Colombia.
Julian Arredondo with a stage win and a 2nd in another one. He finished 7th in the GC and 4th in the points classification. Also, Newbury finished 3rd on stage 10, we have 3 other riders in top 25 (Ochoa 17th, Newbury 20th and del Mar 23rd) and we ended the tour in 3rd place as a team. Plenty of satisfaction to be found for us in this last race and plenty of things to consider for the next season. |
