But why is that an issue? Most likely some managers won't return anyway if they do might as well limit their tasks when they come back. I just don't see why we should run races for people who have riders who never ever comment on this shit, let their teams run autopilot and might even don't do their planning on their own but let rather someone else do it.

Before we take any drastic measures of disbanding youth teams because there will be too many of those, shall we just wait until season ends, and signups for next year begins? We will then have a bit of idea how many teams are suppose to be and then we can think of not accepting few of those if certain people not show enough participation etc.

But I do agree on that. There are few guys that are just here... because, but you have to do everything for them. I get planning takes some time to do, but when you have like 2-3 weeks for it, you literally can't spend an hour for planning? Bs... |

Well if we're disbanding dev teams based on performance, I guess mine will be first to go. Honestly, you might be doing me a favor after having had to watch them all season.

I wouldn't mind sharing a dev team if necessary (like 4 riders each and 500 extra budget each for example).
Also, Shonak, if you say this: 'I just don't see why we should run races for people who have riders who never ever comment on this shit', then the MG reporters should have stopped reporting on your races long ago as well

Not sure why the arrogant side comment against me when you have done one season so far, but frankly since my return to MG I have found the DB really bad, found no joy in reading reports, and have no connection to the current team, hence I do the mature thing and don't plan to renew.

This is a weirdly heated discussion for "If you're inactive, your Dev team will disband to make space for the active managers", a concept everyone agrees on

Indeed, inactive managers should see their (Dev) teams disbanded I think
@Shonak: Because I have done only one season, I am not allowed to make comments? If something is arrogant, I'd rather think it was a comment like that Just thought it was a bit ironic what you said, but I do agree.

Of course, we'll see who signs up for next season, we might easily not have more than 24 dev teams. I was just starting to worry because talents are being signed by teams who don't have a dev team yet.
@Shonak: Obviously, I'd love people to participate more. But if there are silent managers who take transfers seriously and do their own planning on time I'd rather keep them for the additional challenge than force them to partake in race discussions or kick them out. Which might well still leave cases where even I agree with you.

Since I joined late I didn't add a dev team because I have missed the transfers and scouting. But I would hate to lose this part of the game. It's one of the great things that makes it fun. |

I dont know what is ironic about my comment. I have been doing races for ICL for 7 seasons now. I have been active in ManGame in my first three seasons and then at least tried in my comeback but realized quickly it's not for me anymore.
Here on the other side, we have had over the last 2-3 seasons in ICL managers that have renewed their teams and have commented zero or maybe 1-2 times. So yes, I find it rather rich to point the finger at me when we discuss some extreme cases of managers that show zero interest in the game during the season. Like anyone else, I much prefer active managers like you that have an interest in it.

Yes, it would be a shame if new managers would lose the opportunity. It is also about building competitive teams. Inactive managers sit on a bunch of top quality riders that could strengthen the CT teams.
I think we won't have too many inactive managers signing up again either, but if they do I'd be happily to call them out on it.

Don't love the thought of being forced to disband PureBlack but if it comes to it I recognise my inactivity this year and wouldn't put up a fuss if it gets taken away to make room for someone more deserving

I don't think anyone has his eyes on you or PBR in this discussion, especially given Santos WT presence it is natural that you can not comment this much as you would like.

I think there are managers who won't be in the game next year. Then you have to see how many new teams are formed. |

Hey,
sorry for the rather long break.
In general I am still very willing to keep ICL going, but at times the motivation can be low or I'm busy with other things. It just happens from time to time leading to ICL being on a halt at times.
I will answer my PMs in the coming days so we can conclude scouting.
Other than that I have created the development file already. Before publishing that, I am however thinking about adjusting stats a little bit, so that the stat distribution will be closer to normal PCM databases again and not so bloated up (mainly in the area of subtop riders).
What would the opinions on that be? |

Understand real life happens Bikex and motivation comes and goes, ok to wait as long as we get a season eventually
Might be good to try and avoid Man Game transfers for those of us who play both games.
For stat changes I'm ok with that if it improves the AI's ability to handle a race and there is a way to do it so everyone is affected to a similar extent or compensated.
For scouting are we having U21 & U23 races before round 10?

I'm looking forward to the dev file!
Don't have an opinion about stat adjustment, I'm fine either way.

Most managers are probably active in the ManGame, as there are contract extensions there. |

How would the stat adjustments look?
It might improve cobble AI, but then again it might just be PCM that's the problem. Otherwise I think the DB is generaly fine, especially compared to MG.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.
