Seibeb does it again!? Shock

He never performed for me like that in one day races. Maybe the 80 FTR stat is finally working now Grin

Indeed. Despite subpar back up stats he still surprises.

Sensational Samuel!
Samuel Ssabagwanya secured the biggest win of his career after a surprise win at the CT season finale at Zuri Metzgete.

Samuel made a very elite selection of 12 riders that included the likes of Chris Juul-Jensen, Travis Meyer, and Gianni Moscon. However, Samuel has never been one to be intimidated and attacked the group during a lull in pace. He was never seen by his chasers again!

Team management is thrilled with this perfect conclusion to a very succesful season - in which the team has netted the unoffcial prize as the best new team. Given Samuel's success, the team is strongly considering investing in his training over the coming off season. See you all in 2021!

We definitely overperformed this season. Granted, I had hoped our second tier guys could pull of one or two results to support Pinot but glad they lived up to expectations.

Fabianski
Congrats on your Pinot move, that one definitely paid off! Signing the division's strongest climber in combination with an amazing TTT squad was a great strategic choice, what a great transfer plan you had there!
Your hilly guys really left me angry sometimes, as I felt like they often overperformed - and they were always aggressive, often with quite a lot of success. Great roster - and see you again in PCT I guess Smile

liefwarrior
Pinot was huge this season; could've been even better without those handful of off days!

As Fabianski said, signing Pinot and contracting a strong TTT squad was a perfect managerial move. Now, iirc I thought you wanted your team to exist only out of Africans by next season? Looking forward to seeing how you'd do that and if you manage to survive in PCT with that strategy. (I'll take Pinot for 50k thanks)

Thanks guys, appreciate it. Did make it a priority to secure a strong TTT squad. It did limit us in other ways, but it was worth it!

Yes, I think it may be possible. Worst case scenario is my transfer plans go south and I have a sub par team and spend the season developing African riders. It would still be worthwhile!

Review: Team Time Trials
It's no industry secret that Project: Africa focused greatly on team time trials. The move was largely to support Thibaut Pinot and place him in race winning positions. The focus paid off greatly and helped the team to great results.

Olypmia's Tour [C1] Stage 4 4th
Tour of Vancouver [C2HC] Stage 7 2nd
Tour of South Africa [C1] Stage 4 11th
Monterrey TTT [C1] 9th
Vilnius GP [C2HC] 1st
Tour de Vineyards [C2] Stage 7 2nd

That right there is a very cool way to go about it. I wish you the best of luck Smile

Putting the TTT squad with Pinot was a brilliant move. I was definitely a skeptic. I thought he was gonna be dropped for sure. But it worked out well, and Pinot's GC's carried you to promotion (after officials disbands). Congrats! Looking forward to racing with you more in PCT!

Congrats on the promotion, well deserved.

Hoping Glanbia can take over your TTT dominance

I was skeptic too! Glad it wasn't the case except for a very brief moment in Trentino

I'm sure Glanbia will! Good luck for next season.

If you dominate the CT in the time trial, then you will also score well in the PCT.

Adieu Pinot; Welcome New Guys
This year's transfers has seen us depart with the man instrumental in the team's 2020 success. Pinot has moved on in the most amicable fashion to MOL.

With that, we welcome a spate of new faces that will don the black and white in 2021.
