Oh yeah, we are in mid 2000's shenanigans.
Better embrace the shenanigans and enjoy the show because it's plain obvious |

compared to the previous few years where it was plain obvious but nothing was happening all day?

WVA can sprint, can fight for green, can climb, can fight for polka dots. |

Yes but I also think that the last year and a half its gotten worse, mostly due to the decreased testing due to covid |

Y'all talking about Pogacar. I want to know what Lutsenko is on.

Lutsenko….. if he holds that top-10 until the end, I’ll be damned surprised. Or not. |

Lutsenko has always been an awesome alrounder. He was basically a classics rider in a climbers frame earlier, I can imagine him being very strong if he focusses solely on climbing (which he might have done right now)

Abandon Sagan. Disappointing Tour for him and the first time ever he wasn't able to finish Top-3 in a stage (and before the Tour of 2020 he's always finished at least once in the Top-2 of a stage).
Not sure if he would've been able to perform better if he didn't crash with Ewan on stage 3, but he's been very invisible and also not performing well for the green jersey.

the crash came in the first sprint stage, where he was in a perfect position to claim at least a podium spot, so I guess he was quite in good shape for this TdF. None can really know it

Morkov really is the best sprinter left in the Tour.

Morkov was just waiting for Cav. Ok, he passed me, now I'll sprint again and get 2nd.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

That was pretty impressive. Messy sprint and thought Philipsen was going to box him in.
Its so weird that what feels like years since Cav's "peak" he's having a Tour that reminds me of his HTC days where it was pretty much a given that he was finishing 1st (or 2nd I guess) on a sprint stage. I haven't watched all the stages, but from the results every sprint hes contested he's won? I honestly wonder if you put Bennett or Ackermann or Ewan in his spot if they would have as many wins or not. Cav is just so good and finding a way to always be in the right wheel to challenge.
