Amateur Posts: 1 Joined: 25-06-2021 PCM$: 200.00	Hi, I'm back at PCM since a very long time (2011). I am playing pro cyclist with a stage racer. 2nd season I have a 0,6 km prologue in the Austrian mountains in the Tour of Austria. How do you win these? Do you just put the bar to maximum? I have 80 climbing, 74 TT and 71 PR but can't seem to get into top 10 as they expect of me

Small Tour Specialist Posts: 2324 Joined: 07-07-2016 PCM$: 17374.00	not sure, but if I'm not wrong I remember something between 95 and 98 effort, but not at max... you can try it in single race mode to figure out the best pace My Stages 2017 Patch for PCM14

But in real life and even in the game if you put down more energy on the steeper sections you'll have a better average speed. So what I do is chose a baseline energy level and add a point of effort for every +1% steepness. IIRC on that stage, depending on you rider, you'd want to do 75-80 and add to that how steep it is.
