First I thought, well, no mountain points so it doesn't really matter that we're not in the breakaway - alas thrilling report Nemo, was a great read!

Still have the jersey, no harm done after that tumultuous stage!
Thanks for the report

Yeah it was so noble of you to build a team of crappy riders last transfers in order to make races more exciting <3

Nothing special to mention from a Los Pollos/Minions pov in the first two stages, would have been nice to see one of them in the break on stage 2. Congratulations to Abhi and whitejersey! Great reporting btw, keep up the good work.

So close to a winning Minion, though I think the heartbreak for the reporter was even bigger

Good to see Bernal attentive so far. However, lack of power of domestiques (I don´t mean just my team ), allowing two wins from early break in flat stages, makes me quite uncertain before hilly stages.
Thanks for great reporting!

Agreed, maybe not enough sprint focused teams to chase. IF that is the case hills/mountain shouldn't be an issue, but we will see.
Nice podium by Wirtgen for McCormick.

Lucky this race doesn't count for anything because it's going terrible
I guess that's what happens when you have a team full of stags and other mismatched talents. Shame because I was really looking forward to seeing how Rajovic would do in a sprint

Looking forward to the hills and what kind of damage Aidan can do there. After all, he needs to as well, if he wants to win this race.
Fingers crossed both Foss and Sosa can do well. Foss especially seemed attentive in the crosswinds/when they rode hard on the flat, making me think he has got the nod as our leader. |

Good stuff by Chokri! Would have been ideal if he scored some mountain points or finished a little higher, but maybe that's too much to ask for. Hopefully we'll be present in today's breakaway, too. I feel a bit for the sprinters who didn't get a real shot at these stages, but that's probably due to the more unique team compositions. Maybe some of the composite teams don't have their teamwork fully figured out yet Looking forward to the next stages, eventhough the harder the terrain, the less I can expect from our team.

Another stage navigated without mishap for McCormick as we work towards our preferred terrain. Still in the team lead.
AVN not as sharp as he needed to be but that stage was never going to create big gaps.
Thanks for the reports.

Seemed we were pulling hard for Sosa for the stage, but the blocking in the finale took him out of it. Nice to see Foss was alert and in a good spot, so all good still.
